Casey, Tire rack has that tire in stock. $358 with no sales tax and free shipping if you need to get one. I'm running one now and have no major complaints

Probably not Aceman, unless you live in Florida. My insurance guy is only licensed to sell here. Sorry. But if you are in Florida, hit me up and I'll set you up. I'm only paying like $205 per year

I thought mine was high but you sir take the prize!!

I'm 800 for the year/67 per month...and I'm about to be told I'm crazy too...so hold on for this ride!

    SSREAPER

Philip, WTF? How many dui's, crashes, speeding tickets do you have bro? I'm sure I can save you a boat load of cash if you're willing to change companies. Text me or PM me if interested

You might just want to do what Erica did and have DDM build her slingshot for her. You won't go wrong with a DDM turbo or super charger, shocks, built engine, clutch assembly, coolant tank, hose kit, fuel rail, brakes - well, you get the idea. if Dave sells it and you want it, just pull the trigger and get it from him

Like they say....you can't out run the radio! On the other end a good attorney can argue the case if they don't have a good plate capture or video of your face as you zoom by LOL Of course none of us law abiding citizens would be caught speeding..key words are..."caught speeding" LOL JK

My point exactly. That;s why YOU bought the faster RED one too

Only the empty curb weight of 1750 is self imposed, the F.M.V.S.S. ONLY regulate the GVWR of 2,200 lbs So as long as Polaris wants to call it a two seater, not a single seater, they have to deduct from 2200, Two standardized adult weights of 350 and 60 lbs for fuel . so that leaves 1790 and no allowance for luggage and belly fat so Polaris wants to stay at 1750 Lbs empty weight to give themselves 40 pounds of leeway for luggage.

If that's the case, some of us are REALLY screwed :(:(:(

That explains why it's the color that it is. Since it's a drug confiscated car, that means they had to CATCH it first. That's why the dealers should be using the faster RED ones - unless they too want to be caught.

what would keep us from using the ECM, sensors and wiring harness from a Pontiac Solstice?

Off the top of my head, the first three issues would be with the abs. traction control and stability control since the Solstice ecu would be looking for input from a 4th wheel speed sensor

Jerry, what I'm going to say is true, but in the real world, can be proven to be false. But one of the biggest factors to shorten battery life is heat. That's one of the reasons that a LOT of batteries in newer model vehicles have batteries mounted either under the seats inside the vehicle or mounted in the trunk. It gets the battery out of the higher temps from being under the hood dealing with the high heat of the engine. Plus you live in Texas and well everything is bigger in Texas - especially the HEAT. That being said, I'm still on the original battery and have had zero battery problems since I took delivery in November 2014. And I live in FLORIDA which has its share of high temps. I never hooked up to a batery tender or charger. Now if I have a battery issue in the next 90 days, I'm going to blame you for making me jinx it. ;););)

Thanks for the TON of information here Kev - Or should I say there's 907 KG's of information here? Using those figures as being correct, a GVWR of 1,000 kg is 2204 pounds, so where did Polaris come up with the 1800 pound weight limit they feed everyone for the first couple of years?

Party at Dieter's place. Food is already refrosted

Sorry to hear that bro. I had to hit Home Depot a couple years ago to buy whatever one they had in stock when ours crapped out on a Saturday afternoon. If I lived closer to you, you know I'd be there to help you eat all the good stuff before it spoiled
