Conservative numbers for the Tesla Roadster @rabtech...
I'm sure it will be well past my price range, but a boy can dream!
you see the top speed on this!!! and it's not theoretical.. It's been achieved
-
All joking aside, if you’re anywhere near El Paso, Texas, give a holler. Be glad to help out. Even if just for a lunch/dinner break.

A good phone and roadside assistance

I can take a chevette off the line or rolling start any day... Oh wait, nevermind.
I just read your reply @Jonathan Thompson. Man, I think even that would kick my ass from a dead stop... at least for the fist 200 feet or so .

This was taking it a tad easy at several times because cheryll was scared I would kill the guy.Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app
yeah!!! Why is it that everytime my wife is with me I get all the good challenges . I have to promise not to go into "warp speed" when she's in the sling with me.

Who says Im wearing any...
SSREAPER -
you know, all this talk about corvettes and such got me thinking... the ones that have given me the most heartache are the damned Subaru WRX turbos... those suckers are quick, fast, AWD and almost always being driven by some young kid that's just as eager as I am to go fast
-
....., but let’s be honest... who really uses them in SS?
Those of us who do more that go to the grocery store or the local tavern and travel thousands of highway miles on them do!
-
those who are claiming that they can take on a corvette from a roll or not. videos or it didn’t happen!
for obvious reasons, I don't record nor will I provide any recordings of me doing stupid shit...especially not on a public forum, BUT, you're more than welcome to ride along someday . -
pretty much same results as @Slingrazor. Forget it from a dead stop, but rolling doing say 30-50... neither of you is going to pull away from the other. I've done it several times and MOST drivers will back off once they start hitting the 100's. In a straight line, hell, I've been beaten by a Land Rover. Anything over 130-140, forget it... We're toast in our barns. I don't care what color you have. . HOWEVER, put us both on a windy mountain road and all bets are off. I've yet to run across one that can hang in a situation where they don't have long ass straightaways to be able to do over the 130, Vette, Crotch rocket, etc..., but there's still another day .
-
Wow. That was totally unexpected. Prayers to both of you and your families. May the lord bless you and keep you.

Happy Birthday Heather!!! -
Momma is too sweet to complain. Glad she likes the new exhaust brother.
Wait a minute... are we talking about the same woman here ..
-
Gotcha. The only problem with changing it is the noise and the emissions right?
They're no longer around, but the Alpha side exhaust was actually quieter than stock. There might be another side exhaust available from one of the other vendors. I too went with Welter but the stealth but that was only to please momma. She would complain about exhaust smell from the side exhaust.
