Whew, installed my DDMWorks Angle Drive Brace today. Not a hard install really but I could have used smaller hands and if I could trade in this 68+year body for just a couple of hours the getting up and down on the garage floor would have been easier. The shoulder that I had surgery on a few weeks ago wasn't much help either but I got it done. Anyway, it's done and behind me now. I feel a better about the angle drive being more ridged. Tomorrow and Wednesday are supposed to be in the 60's so I may have to get out and play a little.

Just got back from a trip to upstate NY. I gave the snow mobiles a try for a few days. I didn’t realize those things where so much fun! I may be adding a new toy to the collection soon.
I grew up in the Adirondacks of NY and every family back then had a snowmobile. Those were great times to grow up. Snowmobiles are lot of fun for sure. If you could get one to reach the 70mph range you had a rocketship. By today's standards that would be a real dog...

I remember those days. Glad I don't see that more than every few years now.

Cancelled the order then I thought better of it and have it back on order. I'd like to have it for piece of mind. Not a drag racer or tire burner but if it strengthens the drive unit I'll feel better about it.
Wow, that was fast! 10 days from my order and UPS pulls up today, (Saturday), and hands me a box from DDMWorks! Dave@DDMWorks if you had anything to do with the fast turnaround...thankyou. It was supposed to be a 3-6 week wait on the brace. Ten days is like getting it the next day. Can you tell I'm excited?...

Im just hoping my orders make it to me some time this YEAR with this crazy weather.....
I have a buddy that's had some stuff on order and it's been delayed because of the weather in around Texas

Next Wednesday calling for mid 60's and sunny! That will be some great February riding. I feel bad for you boys in the north, (not really). I lived in the great white north for almost 50yrs, (2 hrs from the Canadian border) before I said F**k it I'm moving south. Found another Law Enforcement job in the first month. Just do it! I'll post video so you pretend you were riding with me... Go ahead call me names, get it out of your system. I can take it!!!

Here in NC, winter just ended.... The forecast is for 60 degree weather about 3 or 4 days a week. I can finally get started on some SS projects again.
Same weather projection here in TN...

...if that's the case, I get PLENTY of action!

From the thread title I thought this would be the place where men would pontificate about their married lives...
Well ya can if you have the need...

My problem is the rolling black outs. We're on for a couple hours then off. Supposed to continue into at least tomorrow. Even work has pretty much called it this week..
Sorry to hear that.

What the heck! Not much volume on the forum the last couple of days. Here in TN we are bracing for a winter storm. I got plenty of wood or the woodstove, and a couple of propane tanks for cooking if the power goes out and always have plenty of bottled water.
Actually, I got plenty of Bourbon and Scotch for the storm.

I can confirm mpj220 is correct.

I am not 100% but, believe it is a Delphi 280 series connector.
Can be bought on Amazon.
You da man! I'll wait for some others to chime in but thank you for the response.

I've searched everywhere for information on this plug (picture) that I have attached to this thread. From what I've found out it's for the Canadian version of the SS. With this knowledge is there a plug that can be purchased from an automotive store to use these plugs for additional lights? I know Slingmods makes several harnesses that you can use for these but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. I'm sure it's been hashed out here somewhere. One side is hot all the time, one is a ground and one is only hot with the highbeams on.

Why do you not just plug it in between the seats in the assessery plug
I like tinkering and it's a cleaner look. I have a camera plugged into that most of the time anyway.

Added a receptacle so I'm able to plug my battery tender in rather than get down on the floor and fish the wire out from behind the panel and plug it in. Waterproof, easy to get to and makes a clean install. I saw it on a buddy's motorcycle and asked where he got it. AmazonSmile: Tecmate OptiMATE Cable O-40, Weatherproof SAE socket, panel mount: Automotive

I'd like to try the Michelin P4S's front and rear.

just curious if anyone knows if Shaquille O'Neal or any other famous people that own a Slingshot are members of this forum?
The voices in my head think I'm a pretty big deal.
