I agree. Polaris Marketing has their head up their ass in many ways.

Suggest new marketing slogan "Get your ass in a Sling"
Minimal enthusiasm from current owners since the model years all look pretty much the same. After 5 years a new look might be in order. As far as non owner sales there needs to be more marketing geared toward the automatic tranny and only normal drivers license needed in most states. The Can Am spyder is a good example of where buyers had the choice all along of auto or manual and went with auto something like 3 or 4 to 1.
If you take all of the simple questions that we all get from the general public ie; what's it cost, can it go on the highway, auto, special license, etc..that kinda tells us how you need to market it.
OK...Went back to the clock. Drove it yesterday with the SS emblem and gooseman was right, there was glare. Only issue was there was glare off the speedo and tach which I really hadn't noticed before but might have been because I was looking for it. For those interested in the SS emblem it also comes in powdered coated black.
Love the clock. Where can I get one?
Trying a few different steering wheels and horn buttons. Looking for opinions on which looks nicer, the clock or the SS emblem. thx
2020 - the year of hindsight, the year of good vision or what you could trade your 40 year old wife on.
The very reason many dealers in the northeast dropped Arctic Cat, or went under if they were exclusively Cat dealers, about 15 years ago. There used to be 4 within close proximity to my home. Now......I don't think there is a single Cat dealer left in Massachusetts.
Here's a good method for selling cats:

Not necessarily..Even the group 34 will bolt right in on the 2015. Smaller batteries were used after 2016 1/2 to reduce weight when they added the heat reduction system. You can buy the battery tray mod to accept larger batteries.
Here's someone "Ditching" a Slingshot:

Haven't seen any dealers in Florida backing away from the Slings. In Maine, it might have something to do with only having 2 weeks of summer.
I found some real snow last Feb... Out side Nielsen's in Lake Villa, IL

Do the chains on the back tire hit the belt? (does that make it a chain drive?)
The group 34 battery at Rural King will fit also. It has dimensions almost identical to the bigger Optimas lots of Slingers use.
It's also dirt cheap at 82 bucks.
Did some poor soul spend an afternoon sculpting styrofoam to look like snow for that pic?
Zamboni scrapings from the local ice rink
Had a Can Am Spyder when I bought the Sling..Would you believe this pic was taken in Fort Myers FL.?
What setting do you use for the compression and rebound when that happens?
All the way!
IMO, the location of the coolant tank is too coincidental for heat not to be at least part of the problem. Warm climate owners like Edward and myself were forced to attack the cockpit heat problem shortly after purchasing. The stock pot belly stove exhaust is one of the first areas to shield which in turn reduces heat radiating the coolant tank. My stock tank is still installed with no issues.
Local Sling group was part of a Charity (Hero Project) car and bike show this past weekend at RockStar Harley. Had 8 Slings show up. Great weather and good company.
