Hi, please try again when you have time. Not sure why the website was acting crazy. I will monitor the purchase when you place it.
Thank
same thing, gives me a blank screen on return from paypal.
[link deleted]
maybe because I use a guest checkout with credit card info as I don't have a paypal account.
I believe lrobbi is making one.

I need to contact them on Monday, I tried to order one online and their webpage hung after it returned the paypal link
I have a '19 SL with a slingshade and want to put a rear wind deflector on to keep the wind from coming back on me.
suggestions?
Ya but opening your door to a wall of snow in the shape of your door kinda sucks too. Been there done that left that !☺️
you mean like this view out my window last year?
and YES, that is a squirrel giving my cat the finger.
"drive anywhere you want"?
I suspect that with my slingshot being my daily driver that might not hold true - at least not if I want to stay alive
well, you would have to put studded snows on it off course
you can all keep your hurricanes and tornadoes and earthquakes. (oh my)
as much as i piss-n-moan about winter in northern Maine. I have to admit, they know how to handle it up here. we can get an 18 - 24" of snow in a storm and about an hour after it stops snowing all the roads are clear and stores are opened. Unless it's dumping more then 3" an hour, they keep the roads clear enough here to drive anywhere you want.
Mt Washington, NH
this is my entry
you don't have to outrun the bear, you just have to outrun the person you're with.
The apparent inability of the forecasters to accurately report the where & when Dorian will hit simply astounds me!
Its almost panic here in S. FL, Every store is out of D batteries, no bottled water available, & if you do find it, you are limited to 2 cases.
I don't think it's the national weather services inability to predict, as much as it's the broadcaster's hyping it out of control so they can sell more advertising.
I always get my my weather directly from the NWS webpage, and never from the TV. during winter storms / blizzards in Maine, it's almost always drastically different. with the weather service giving probability % numbers, and the TV broadcaster calling it crap like "snowmegedon" and better kiss your loved ones goodbye.
The 2nd quote of yours I used makes me feel it's the TV broadcaster's fault.
winter has lost it's appeal and I'm looking to move south,
trouble is I hate Hot and Humid more then Cold and snow.
during windy rides on the interstate I can feel the mudflaps acting like sails and helping to push the front end around.
I don't want to just remove them since I usually clean some mud / road grime off the inside of mudflaps after long rides.
Who makes a good front fender. I have a '19 SL
Dave
Wow! Looks like you had great weather going up! Sadly I have never gone up Mt Washingtion. I do remember seeing the 'ol man of the mountain when he was still around. I skied Gunstock as a kid -
Enjoy your rides as much as you can! The Famers Almanac says you all are gunna get hammered this year
I kept watch on the Observatories webpage and when they reported 100 mile visibility, I knew it was time.
this winter can't be any worse then last year. we had a season total of 12 feet of snow and broke a record for 167 consecutive days of at least 1" of snow on the ground. that 5 1/2 months of the nasty white stuff. Wondering how the SS would handle with a set of studded snows on it
give this a shot, 360 degree video of tide up mt washington. linked from my facebook account. if this doesn't work I'll upload it to youtube
BANDWIDTH WARNING.
this is a 360* high res (4k) video and is almost 1Gbyte long.
I had a CB500 Honda that I cafe’ed back in 1975 and ran the wheels off of it on the Kancamagus - beautiful country! Thanks for taking me back!
the Kancamagus is a fantastic 2 wheel ride. I've done it many time.
I hate to admit it, but my 1st time up mt Washington was 43 years ago and it was mostly a narrow gravel road to the top. now it's widened, paved and even has lines painted on it. Where's the challenge? I spent most of the trip down smelling people's overheating brakes, cause they couldn't figure out how to put their expensive cars in low.
followed my GPS up a 7.6 mile dead end road.
ended up at the 6,288' summit of Mt Washington in NH,
the back of my sling now has the "this bike climbed Mt Washington" sticker on it
and I found another covered bridge on the road to Sunday River ski resort on the way back.
Took the SS on a tour of the solar system.
OK, so maybe not the "Actual" solar system, but a scale model built and maintained by the University of Maine. The Sun is at their Presque Isle campus and Pluto is at the visitor center in Houlton.
https://pages.umpi.edu/nmms/solar/
"Scale 1:93,000,000
At forty miles (64.4 km) from Pluto to Sun, the largest complete three-dimensional scale model of the Solar System in the World."
Only have pics of the 3 largest planets. the rest were maybe golfball size and wouldn't show in the pic. and the sun takes up 2 floor inside Folsham Hall, and I Couldn't get my SS inside the building, pics are with Mars, Saturn and Uranus
I'll start by saying I don't own one ... yet.
But I've been looking at them to film some remote area ATV riding I do in Northern Maine.
the Mavic Pro seems to have the best follow me specs, along with collision avoidance, etc.
it's supposed to be able to fly higher up and just behind or in front of you and follow you around. It can also be set in profile mode, which puts it next to you, or terrain mode where it follows right behind you at the same height off the ground as you.
It's not the newest model, but supposedly the best model for follow me technology
I would think it'd make an interesting video of the rides thru the mountains
doesn't look like I'll make it. my ex wife's mother just died. so it looks like a trip to Mass is in my near future for the funeral
Ran the border and got 4 more covered bridges in Canada. I was trying for 5, but the road to one of them turned into a muddy mess, that would have been a challenge in my jeep.
