I just received my 1st pair of V-Moda ear plugs and took the sling out tonight to test them out.
I am still running a mostly stock 2016 SS (with exception of hood vent) and took the sling up to about 90 mph tonight while having the radio on a 12 volume playing my tunes on the USB, and I could not believe how well I could hear the music and no wind in my ears!!
Thank you to everyone who recommended all the options - I must say I am happy with my $20 purchase!

I will be returning from Bend, OR on Sunday, so I will be missing this one.
I do look forward to other events however!
Our PedalMax just got delivered, going to go get some baseline information from it, but will not have time to really test it until next week.
I am excited to hear the results, as I am still considering this PedalMax ...
Yea .... 45,000 barrels of bourbon gone
oh oh ..... NIC card (I wanted one too)
kev can you help vet out the 'Idle' question?
Does this product raise the RPM's?
I watched the video back on post#5 and it does seem to make it seem like it does impact RPM's.
As the Vendor - perhaps you can provide some good data that explain the RPM's.
Thanks

That is my understanding as well. Watching the video really helped me understand how it works.
Here is a small 'blurb' from them...

I just formatted an 8GB flash drive with FAT32 and loaded it up with MP3's and works well.
I agree with wokka - perhaps try a different drive.
This looks like something I might just need
I was very surprised to get an email from Slingmods with a full credit for the steering wheel removal tool that didn't work.
That kind of customer support goes a long way and I will definitely be shopping with them again.
I didn't even ask for a refund, but wrote them a review on how the product doesn't work on the 2017 models and to update their site.
Hats off to Slingmods!!

I can - but I am trying to save the 100 mile one way drive and thought I could do this simple task myself.
So I bought Steering Wheel Puller for the Polaris Slingshot because my steering wheel is crooked from the factory and I wanted to straighten it out.
Sadly - this does not seem to work on the 2017 as stated.
The bolts included are too small
Also - the spacing between holes is 1 1/4 inches and the part is spaced at 1".
I did have some bolts laying around that fit, however when I drilled out the original holes - I am off by over 1/4" and cannot line them up nicely
So - my question is - what removal tool does fit the 2017 SS to remove the steering wheel?
Thanks,

OMG that is too funny!!
I keep my full face Arai helmet behind my drivers seat.
I wear it when I travel on the highways as I don't think the stock wind screen reflect near enough wind.
