Just heard on the news that as of today the total deaths from Cvid-19 in the United States has surpassed the total number of American deaths from the entire Vietnam War

I saw that today also... It is funny that they don't say every year we usually loose more people to the flu than were killed in Nam.... Just more media hype. I look at Sweden who has not shut anything down, has some social distancing and some masks... and they as a country of about 10 million have less deaths than some of our states. Compare that to Cali with about 40 million and almost the same amount of deaths....Sweden 2462 no shut down, Cali 1939 full shut down... Something doesn't make sense... They also said on our local news tonight that if the person is tested with Covid-19 and dies even if they had no symptoms of Covid-19 other than a positive test they count it as a Covid death (Per CDC guidlines). Again.. something is not right.

Think about this.... it costs me $225 to REGISTER my SS in California!

When I got my 2019 SLR last year the wonderful state of Colorado charged me 704$ to register it. This year is will be about $625... Too many people who have gotten used to paying California rates have moved here.... :) Forgot to mention.. my 2018 Sypder is about 425$... and My 11 year old Ford Explorer Sport Trac is $125...

It baffles me that you can't see what is morally wrong with the fact that he purchased N95 mask that Doctors NEED and instead of doing the humanitarian thing of donating it to one of the many hospitals that are in dire need, he(Scott) chose to make a profit on something he doesn't normally sell.

I guess since we are talking morality, the question should be who sold those to him to sell and not that he sold them. There are a lot of people who also need that mask that are immunocompromised that can benefit also from these masks as they do have to to out in public with folks like my neighbor who still doesn't think this is a big thing and the flu is worse. We shouldn't make moral judgements for others unless our actions are all morally sufficient. Have any of us who point fingers done everything ethically possible to help our communities? Or have we bent the rules a bit? I still see posts on all forums regarding "wind therapy" and that this is acceptable. We spread this virus, it does not spread itself.. Anyway... I have N95 masks here that I have had for a long time (no I didn't buy them from the above mentioned vendor) and use them for inside painting and other stuff... I survived GBS and I know that any virus I could contract could again cause the GBS to flare up.. there is no cure for it... So should I have these for my PPE or should I donate them... (I only have 5)... Morally I should donate them for the greater good...

This is probably not going to be a popular post, but why do we feel the need to announce what our intentions are? It is one thing to let the vendor know in private but public announcement accomplishes nothing. I think the whole thing with the masks is blown way out of proportion. If you don't want one don't buy one... just like anything else on the site. They had a 50% mark up... to me I say so what... again... just don't buy the mask, I didn't. It is funny that I never hear these complaints about a decal or something else that is simple having a 300% or better markup... I know.. "during this time" it should not be done... Whatever... If he sold them when it was not "during this time" there would be no protest.... We all need to take a look at everything "during this time" and stop going for rides when the mandate is to stay at home... It is funny how we pick and choose what is and isn't ok "during this time".

Every single n95 that I have ever seen had valve(filter), the ones that sso is selling are the .85 @ Menards during normal times.

Any one that is capable of gouging people during a national emergency is not worth the air they breathe.

SSO never misses an opportunity to disappoint.

Not true.. here are the 68 cent ones that I had in my basement for years.. I always used them for indoor painting. On Friday, the F.D.A. issued an emergency use authorization for KN95 masks. Regulated by the Chinese government, they are almost identical in performance to N95 masks. There are slight differences in their specifications, like a variation in the maximum pressure the masks must be able to withstand as a person inhales and exhales. The article also says the main supplier of the KN95 masks is a Chicago company and their website says the cost is $2.96 per with a minimum order of 1000. My response is not directed at anyone specific and I am sure this will not be popular. We move the virus.. be it goods shipment or "wind therapy" the possibility of spreading the virus grows anytime there is movement. It is not only about personal infection (social/physical distancing), it is about containment. Every time we go out we can move the virus... be it where some one spit or blew their nose and I step in it and move it or any other number of ways. I understand pay at the pump.. and bringing everything needed, but does that include "brief reliefs"? Or are we going bio somewhere besides a restroom (some of the most filthy places we stop at). Please let's not turn public areas into an outdoor bio areas. I also believe we will all be touched by this at some point or another, but if we can slow the spread it may give the scientists time to develop a vaccine for this. Time will tell, but again as much as I would love to go out, Colorado has a stay at home order (I have a Can-Am RTL and a Slingshot) I am trying to do my part for our country and try not to be responsible for indirectly causing another's demise. (Drops mic and steps off box)

I was just curious about the swing arm hitches since the Can-Am Spyder RT has a swing arm hitch and it has not been a problem. The hitch is actually sold by BRP. I get it though... different vehicle, different specs...

There are other options... I cannot say which is best... but https://www.slingshothitch.com/

Those are some cool pictures.... It is funny how 6k feet looks out there... I live at 6100 feet here and it is flat.... :) All I could do was look at the hot rod today.... We got a foot of snow....
