They keep making phones bigger. I always put my phone in my back pocket. I've been buying Wrangler jeans my whole life. Just bought a new pair of jeans and the phone sticks out the pocket at least 2 in. it was fine in my old pair? Great set-up for a pick-pocket. So phones get bigger & pockets get smaller.
Does anyone know what that mysterious pocket in the front is for? The little pocket no one uses that they could have eliminated to cut cost instead of reducing back pocket material.
Driving to work this morning I heard on the news NJ is very concerned over the amount of people leaving the state. Studies show they are leaving due to the high tax rate in the state (Second only to California but at least they have a beautiful state). Of particular concern was a study showing 50% of people about to retire are considering moving to another state (this includes my wife and I). It was said the state needs to lower tax rates now to avert a major loss of income in the very near future as baby boomers are retiring. A few days back they were concerned about the loss of income due to electric vehicles and the loss of fuel sales (taxes on fuel).
Please don't judge as I believe social programs are needed but at some point the straw breaks the camels back. I believe in help but I also believe in something called personnel responsibility. This was the very next story on the news. I suppose this is the answer to reduce this tax burden. I'm sure it will work!
They are extending the school lunch program to include weekends & holidays. NJ is a sanctuary state. Lets throw in free health care for all. Great stuff, any other ideas to meet the urgency to reduce taxes and stop the flow of people leaving the state?

Frankie55 I personally advise people against using the tall wind screens. If it happens to fog up you had better be able to see over it.
Good point, I forgot about that! Has happened many times on the two wheel motoring scooter. Had to stretch out and sit on the passenger seat or stand on the pegs to look over. Really scary on the interstate!
I might think about a go between height that I could do a stretch in an emergency situation.

Can't like that. Hope they get the Parade in OK. On Saturday after Thanksgiving we have a Santa parade in La Porte. Bring Santa into town. Hope to have a dry day so the Slingshots can pass out candy to all the girls and boys (naughty or nice) … We will be giving out a mixed sandwich bag full of candy and some will have 'Hot Wheels' in the bag.
Very nice, I looked at my local Wally World for the matchbox sling. No luck, we have an older Walmart. I'm going to look at a newer larger one soon. Fingers crossed for some good weather for the Santa Parade!

Received my Bullet Speed V-Back Top today. Good quality & styling. I like the v-back it integrates really nice with the back of the sling. Good purchase, only drawback is it limits the area for any storage bags hung from the roll hoops. MeanSling puts out some roll bags that I think will work fine. Also I'm looking into an extended windscreen.

I received my Bullet Speed V-Back Top today. I like the style and fit. Only issue is not with the top itself. I have the stock ripper windscreen that is tapered on the outboard ends. It allows wind to travel outboard & then deflect inboard off the canopy frame into the cockpit (face area).
I'm looking into a windscreen option to solve the issue. I really like the style of the NASCAR +2. Anyone out there have the NASCAR +2 along with a Bullet Speed V-Back or similar top?
I received my Bullet Speed Canvas Top. Love the style and fit. Only issue is not with the top itself. That being said, they just showed up in all the Walmarts. I actually checked this exact Walmart yesterday and there were none. But it looks like all the Walmarts stocked overnight because I found them at multiple Wally Worlds. (I'll post a thread on my adventure in a little bit.)
So, if you're looking, get to Wally World before Friday. They should have them. If not at your local WM, check another. I found them in about 2/3rds of the WMs I checked.
