Thanks for posting that. I find this quote very interesting :

Well, on the Slingshot side, I will say we have not put our best foot forward with that product yet. I'm really confident that the plans we have in place are going to give us -- give that business the best chance of success. Until we've done that, you can't really consider it. My requirement is, we've got every return on investment capital metric you could want as we look at our businesses going forward. My simple one is, is there a future of profitable growth or not? And I will tell you, as I look at where we are with Slingshot and what we're bringing to market for Slingshot, not necessarily this year but over the next couple of years, I'm very comfortable that there is a future of profitable growth for that business. If that proves not to be true, we will reconsider our investment. But right now, we are comfortable that there's a strong future of profitable growth there over time.

Seems they aren't giving up just yet (as we suspected) and hinting at new things to come (my guess is not just minor changes as we've seen over the years).

I trust your numbers Dave, and perhaps I'm just not pushing my SS enough on the corners. So far, I'm really happy with the stock setup on my 2019.

After I change shocks out, I may sing a different tune, but for now with the stock shocks and stock sway, it feels really good cornering.

Yep, wiring is there. May have to dig a little to find them. Some people have even found them between the frame and the plastic panel stuck in wrong from the factory. Big 32 pin computer style connector and then 2 small square connectors that go to the back of the screen. The connector for the camera is a little small white 2 wire connector - just the female version of the connector on the camera itself. It's under the rear fin but you may have to unbolt the back of the deck to get your hand in there to find it. Search here for pictures.

Yeah, I'm the one who found my radio wiring stuck between the frame next to the transmission and the tunnel cover. Could only see it from below.

Was up till 9am this morning working, but got the customer fixed up and they were online before their Sat shift came in. Slept till 1pm.

Got my water leak fixed, whoever installed the tiles decided to use grout as a filler around the water valves, not completly closing them in, but couldn't unscrew it, so had to chisel grout. Didn't break any tiles I don't think, but was fun. SO is happy that I got the leak fixed, even bought her new handles (old ones were very dated looking). Had to go to a hardware store, so of course, took the SS and went a longer route, total of about 40 miles :)

Then I got to tinker with the SS for a bit, posted in the mods of the day thread. If I would have had more time to play in the shop, was going to work on my flag holder that I'm designing, will do that later this week.

Austin folks are coming up to DFW for chicken tomorrow, so going to ride in and meet up, weather is supposed to be good, so looking forward to it.

Ed, do you or anyone else know if the newer models have a different stock sway system than the earlier models?

I've not put mine on a track, but I've been pretty aggressive on some tight corners and mine just doesn't sway much, if at all. I can't really tell it. Maybe I need to get someone with a cam to follow me on a run to see how it performs.

I do plan to upgrade the coilovers, but I haven't planned to do the sway bar.

I feel ya MACAWS, It was supposed to rain today (did a bit, but not on me), so I drove a car to Dallas. Could have rode in the SS, didn't get not one drop on me, but did see some wet roads.

If I had ridden in, it would have stormed heavily!
