Lol, you are one of the few who probably know what Ubuntu is, but glad someone noticed it
I should get Rab to do a shirt and logo for me, swapping the Penguin out for the Panda

Bah humbug, if they are giving out prizes, don't show up, gives me more of a chance to win one!
Obviously a joke, don't take that the wrong way... Looking forward to seeing everyone there
Glad it's working out for you, keep us updated once you get the parts in please.
i have a lot of respect for your inputs.
All I would like to say is:
Do you think the likes of Ross, Jim, or myself would ever do anything other than what is best for the community? That is all we are trying to do.
The money raised for the tours is going to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Trust Foundation. Not in our pockets like other events being put on.
I think some of the confusion is that there are two tours and the email was badly worded hopefully? You mention the free tour is catwalk and video tours. The catwalk part is probably what most people were expecting. The email sent out about the VIP tours mention only video, no mention of the catwalk part.
I appreciate what everyone is trying to accomplish from SOG and this is your first event, so there will be growing pains.
Also, the email didn't say anything about the money being for a non-profit foundation, that does put a different light on things.
Am I right in my understanding?
Thanks Rab, tried to the other day an we couldn't find the protection kits, but looks like you got the shop sorted. Love that you have added moisture wicking shirts to the line up.
billythekidd the storage compartment is fine for a phone, I've used it for my iphone. Seats may be damp, just use a towel or old shirt to wipe them out, the seats are waterproof and the angle causes them to drain well.
I keep a rain suit in my sling, any good motorcycle suit that is thin will do the trick
I've put my backpack with laptop (macbbook pro) in the storage compartments, but I wouldn't without a good padded setup. My laptop stays in a padded neoprene sleeve and I put that into my padded backpack. The stock coilover / shocks make for a bit of a bumpy ride for a laptop.
I'm in NE Texas, north of Paris, so about 50 miles north of the i-20 path, I'd be happy to help you change your oil if it works out for you and you want to swing by. PM me if interested and we'll coordinate.
If it's too far out of the way, I would expect any oil change place could help you, but you may have to supply your own filter, I like the K&N 7000 filter. I doubt any of them would have it.
Don't use the USB ports, just needs 12v and ground, which can be tapped that go to the power port in the glove box, it's already switched off of the ignition.
I use this to power my relay that powers my fuse box in the glove box, but wanted it all to be switched.
We are all probably saying the same thing, just doing a bad job of it
The things we do while bored on a conference call. Half way through that list, someone spoke to me and I was like, "huh? phone cut out, can you please repeat"
Do you have different shocks?
And yes, I always share, other than my lady and my bike...
LOL, yeah Dave, I want the version 2.0 of that motor
Now you are just teasing...
Sorry Slopoke, back of the line you go
Too much fun, but you should have made a new video, WHILE eating a donut!
Live-a-Little! I too battled the same issue. If your joints are leaking, get some sealer on those and that will help there. As to the fumes coming out the back, the biggest thing that solved for me was putting a high-flow cat on from Welter.
Fix your leaks first, if that doesn't solve it, ping me and let's talk. I have the high flow cat for sale (making major changes to my setup), it's for the 2.5" exhaust though and it was pretty pricey.
Yes, same, enjoyed our chat and finally got to see your to in person!
Glad y'all made it back. Now Dan can let us know how his differential is doing and progress
Oh dude, Joey is coming? Should be a lot of fun!
You'll be missed!
Speaking of inaccurate/ignorant ads for the Slingshot, I saw one a few days ago offering a rental of an automatic-equipped, single seat, Polaris Slingshot! It bugs me when I see posts for something I know are worng! The "worng" is my homage to the original West World movie with ads claiming nothing could go worng!
Anybody else ever select the two thumbs up smiley, but only get one thumb up in the displayed image? before saving my post, I saw the two thumbs up smiley, but recently the forum has been saving my smiley as a single thumbs up smiley.
There are actually a few rental companies that are buying SS and getting an automatic conversion done from what I understand. Don't remember who told me that, maybe whoever did will speak up.
