You might try contacting http://www.undergroundautostyling.com/ and see if they want to tackle it.

Air ride system, you can set them on the ground if you want.

Has Ej asked to come on one of these school trips yet?
-
I'm not Ej, but most of us have picked up the brace. As a visual example, pop the hood and have someone sit in your sling, look at the master cylinder while having your helper press the brakes hard. You'll see it move, and quite a bit.
It's still a good idea to bleed your brakes, but the brace makes a big difference.

I can relate to that pic, I'm not retired, but I'm a member of the procrastination club

He's always got an excuse to not ride, and keeps talking about selling it, or modding it further. The boy just can't make up his mind!

Welcome aboard. You've made some good mod choices there.
What part of CO are in you, we have a few members from there already, CO Springs area mostly I think.

I'm not running the OEM boot. Mine is pretty compressed though and tight, but enough room to install it.
Dave@DDMWorks any issues with the oem boot on the 19's?

At least you only got a warning.

Decent marketing there

No sir, I really like the look of the bare assed rear-end. The rear tires don't throw up enough water to warrant them. If I was going to, it would be purely for aesthetics, and I really like the ones that Trakhamr have for the states that require it.
They are small, but I think if you painted them to match the ride, it would look really good.

I agree openair 100%.
The only thing I'll add is that Craftsman brand has gone down hill, no longer made in the US, and while you can get warranty returns at Lowes now, I don't know that process, I haven't tried it yet, not needing to replace one in years from Sears.
I have never used Snapon, and if I was going to shop for a new tool set, I'd likely look at them. I have a pretty good selection now, just needing to add ones here and there for one-off jobs. Some of them I've picked up at HF, some at Home Depot, and a few on Amazon, like the t-handles that no other place seemed to have for quality stuff.

I've found the wobble socket extensions from Harbor Freight are invaluable. They help you get into spots you cannot reach otherwise!
I've been using the Husky brand from home depot, while it's not made in the US, they do have a lifetime warranty and seem to be a bit better than the harbor freight tools.

Yeah, the Y-pipe is the same on that end, it's just the input of the Y-pipe is different, if you are 2.5" or 2" setup.
-
I don't know the ID right off, I know the pipe leading into them is a 2", but I assume thats the OD, but you know what assume makes
I'll pull one off this evening and measure for you, unless someone answers first.

Not just bits, if you tinker with your sling a lot, go ahead and get a set of T-handles for torx as well as a torx socket set for 3/8" drive
I like these, made in the USA, you'll pay a bit more : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004RH08B8/
The socket set I have I picked up at harbor freight, don't have a link handy since I bought them in the store. It gives you more versatility when working with various stubborn or hard to reach areas.
For example, the trakhamr axles are held on with a Torx T-55 bolts, hard to get to, takes a few extensions to do it easily. Chevrolet didn't make it easy

Typically we unplug the harness going to the fuel injectors when doing the installs, since that prevents fuel from being sprayed into the cylinders while the engine is turning over. There will be a check engine light after you plug the connector back in and start the engine, but it should go away after driving the Slingshot a couple times.
Thanks Dave!
