SoCal - I remember a post from you a while back, where you installed a light in your glove box that would come on when you opened it. Switch could be stuck on? Just a thought :/

This will be my first trip to SSITS. I have already made my hotel reservations, just need to register with Slingshot Roadsters. Looking forward to meeting as many of the forum members as possible. I was wondering for those that have attended in the past, are there vendors there that sell the MadStad adjustable windshields. I was thinking about replacing mine, but I wanted to checkout the different heights and tinting of the windshields before I purchased one. If there isn’t a vendor maybe one of you would allow me to check out yours and ask a few questions. :/

Has anyone seen the schedule for the 2019 Maggie Valley event? Planned rides or what events will be happening during each day of the rally? I have not been able to find anything. I wanted to sign up for some of the rides before they fill up and make sure when the parade is scheduled for the world record attempt.

Went to install my LED headlights and run into a little issue. Installed the two center headlights with no problems. Took about ten minutes. Started on the outside lights and the trouble soon began. Removed the rubber boot, disconnected the ground wire. I can not get the power wire (yellow) to disconnect. I have pulled and pulled but I can’t get it loose. I am afraid I am going to break it. Is this connection crimped on. It looks like it should pull right out. What am I doing wrong? ||

Due to the limited storage in the SS, what would be the best tools too take with you when heading out for a weekend ride. I thought I would put together a tool kit this winter, so I will be prepared when heading out to some of the Slingshot events this year.

I was wondering after reading about the flat tire. Is it safe to use a can of Fix A Flat? I know the tires are more like car tires than motorcycle tires and this may work to get you off the side of the road until you can find a place to get the tire repaired. Be easy to store in th SS.

On a 2018 SL ,which hole do you use on the water line relocation bracket? There is a wire tie around the water line pipe on the firewall. Should this be cut to give the water line pipe more movement? How much space should there be between the exhaust and water line? I know they added the extra hole in the relocation bracket around 2017. Not sure which hole they added and the instructions don’t indicated which hole to per model year. I went and looked at Welter’s install video, but the bracket they use has only one hole. Video not update for the newer models.

@Irobbi just wanted to let you know that I received my custom headlight covers today and could not believe how well packaged they were and how detailed the instructions were. Every thing I need to install is included, plus a few extra goodies. I have purchased quite a few Mods since purchasing my SS, but none this well packaged and with instructions this detailed. This want be my last purchase from RShotAccessories. I just wish your rear wind screen would fit a slingshot with the Slingshade. I would purchase it in a heartbeat. Maybe you should make one!! Hint hint. Thanks again Lewis and have a happy new year.

    Thanks,

    Bobby
