Now back to the OP's original question:

I have both the PC and DDMs Stage 1 Turbo.

Yes, you can use them both. They are independent systems.

Yes, they can get you into trouble REAL quick. I have learned to drive with an egg between my foot and the pedal.

Yes, I have mine turned down quite a bit too - just a couple settings higher than stock, but not any where close to extreme (I will have to see what the actual setting is next time I go out).

Worth the money is a personal question. I've got some really expensive stuff that was worth every penny and more. I've got cheap stuff that was just a waste.

Realize that the PC is just a foot multiplier. All it does is take the input from your foot and gas pedal and multiplies it to go to the ECM. So instead of you having to mash down hard you only have to push a little bit. If you do mash down to WOT, all you're going to do is spin your rear tire. That's why people say don't use it in the twistees coming out of corners but I have learned to control mine pretty easily.

    Steering rack replacement

Ready for a couple more years

Can i ask why? I am noticing some slop in my front steering. Holding the steering wheel perfectly still the SS still wanders across the road. I checked everything and it was bolted down tight, but I did notice that the passenger side of that rack had just a little bit of movement in it. I'm wondering if this might be my issue too?

They have different tanks that you can mount in the storage behind the seats, underneath the tail fin, or in the trans tunnel so you can still get an intercooler up front. I'm not sure where you are getting your air ride from but I know Mitch at Rev Dynamics has options so you can get the best of both worlds.

Luv It! Spending his money already!

.... I’m never doing a tune in this so I’m just looking for more response. ....

8o;( Yeah! Right. I think we all said that. And now I have a turbo.

Welcome. Put that credit card away for a couple months until you REALLY get to know what you want. Then get a credit card your significant other doesn't know about. It get's addictive real fast.

Okay, posting it here to see if someone from SSO/TD/WP will provide more details.

Got an email that SSO now offers a Slinigshot-specific cover that apparently fits almost every single SS configuration: Roof-less, Roof, Tail, Wing, 4-seater conversion, etc.

So if I were to guess, means it's big enough to fit over a stretched SS, any of the roofs, and a Carbon Fiber wing on the rear. So how's if fit if I don't have all that stuff? Will it be very loose?

I'ld like to see it put onto a SS Configuration that MOST of us have - SS w just a roof. How's that fit?

From the pics, this is it on a 4-seater without roof. What's it look like on a 2-seater with TD Gullwing Roof?

My worst was when I did the Three Twisted Sisters here in Texas a couple years ago. Even though I was mostly full before starting, let's just say I didn't drive it to maximize the gas mileage. Literally ran out out gas as I turned into the gas station and had to coast the 50 or so feet to the pump.

Let's point another thing: The aftermarket roof also helped save her. I know those are not rated for crash worthiness, but that's the 2nd time I've seen a roll over with a roof that did a great job of protecting the occupant.

Can I ask: Regarding the broken ribs: Stock 3pt seat belt or aftermarket? In my crash, the seat belt is what did the most damage to me (admittedly much less than the steering wheel would have) and the reason I went to 4 pts.

chavey2 Are you still on 3 wheels? I have a welter rear exit made for a bullet speed quad kit that will fit the DDM turbo setup. I would think it would also fit other quad kits out there. DDM modified the exhaust to fit but we made the down pipe for it. Customer was running their 6758 kit at the time.

Still on 3 wheels. (Have absolutely NO desire to go to 4.)

I was looking at your turbo rear exhaust, reading about the drag vs street mode and wondering if there was something I could do to modify that. Heck, if all else fails, can I buy just your transmission mount so that I can get a local guy to fab something?

A few people I know use the "Race Ramps" along with the fold down ramp from some trailers. They are nice and light and you can store them in the trailer under the SS or on a wall. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Yeah, the problem with almost all of the "Toy Hauler Trailers" is the deck height to ground - ie the ramp angle. I measured it out and used a ramp calculator online and found out you would need a 14' ramp to clear the top and bottom angles to get a SS into these toy haulers.

That's why I have been looking at the motorhomes instead. I've found some with smaller garages that also have a flat lift attached to the back, ie like a Nascar race car trailer. I even found a Renegade RV that someone had customized with a 20' garage built on a Freightliner chassis. But 1) It was pretty much all garage - bare bones sleeping or other arrangements, and 2) It was already sold.

There used to be a couple brands: "Work and Play" and "LRV" that did trailers meant for the Harley crowd - low to the ground. But LRV got shut down and Work-N-Play went to the standard high deck height.
