Stopped correcting people and if they ask more questions I tell them "It's actually registered as a motorcycle." That blows them away and I usually get the barrage of questions...helmet? Insureance? How much? So on and so on.

Just keeping the countdown alive! we are at 71 days and counting!

Sorry @Br4hm4, it was a joke about how high taxes are there. In all seriousness, you shouldn't have to pay the VAT (Value Added Tax) since you're outside the EU. But even then, I still think it'll be over $3,000. Makes the $1,500 Walter Performance Exhaust seem like a bargain.
I'm still not sold on the viability of these rear-exit exhausts. They say you only smell the exhaust until it's broken in, but to me, that means you're still smelling exhaust fumes, they're just slightly cleaner. The aerodynamics of the Slingshot seem to pull air from the rear into the cabin. Until that gets fixed, my exhaust stays in the front (even though the rear exit exhausts look AWESOME!).
I figured...I just wanted to make sure people didn't think I was just talking out of my ass.

So I started chatting with them on FB. Interesting company out of Switzerland. They have an exhaust that looks very similar to the Welter Performance set up. I can say with out a doubt...the Welter Performance exhaust is a steal compared to what DNT Racing is asking. After conversion from USD to Swiss Franc...their exhaust comes in at $3,957.78 before shipping. HOLY CRAP!

I can see it now...everyone Spam-ming this thread with bad puns. Seriously though...someone is going to be losing a lot of bread in this accident. Insurance probably won't want to pay up any dough...people are going to be feeling pretty salty.

Sounds like baloney to me.
Spectacular pun! Just when you thought it wasn't going to be Cheesy!

Is that 42 front and 45 rear?
On the base models I know that the fronts are 17X7 +42mm offset, the rears are 18X9.5 +45mm offset. Not sure what it is for the SL or SL LE.

Early this morning, one truck carrying bread collided with another truck carrying deli meat on a New Jersey highway...

I can not make this stuff up...it happened.

I slammed on it and it actually did fix it a bit. It's better than it was before.

10GB only would work for me on the Tmobile network. Since they don't include music streaming or Video streaming in their Data count, it keeps my numbers looking low. Last 4-6 months if you include music and video streaming, I am over 25GB a month. But according to Tmobile I only use about 3GB a month.

@Br4hm4, I had to use 3/16" spacers on my front wheels in order for my aftermarket wheels, American Racing Torq thrust M, to clear the calipers. I'm not a madman when I drive, but I haven't noticed any difference.
What were the offsets on the Torq Thrust M?
-
That's great info! I notice that bolt pattern is really easy to match, the hardest thing is finding the correct offset. Not sure how many people have used Spacers but I'd love to see how much that has impacted the ride or cornering.

Will have to take it out one more time to try it tonight. I was up to about 55 and locked them up...after that they seemed better...just want to know if was a strange placebo or something.
-
I'm sorry man, I have never seen the 1.0
All good, I am still looking for the right combo, just saw a deal on the 1.0 and figured $60 would be a nice way to get an upgrade.
-
Will be trying this tonight and verifying if it works.

Awesome videos. I always wanted to find out if there was any difference from the NRG 1.0 vs the newer 2.5s. No one seemed to have an answer for me when I asked a while back on the other forum.
