Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not REALLY out do get you.

I don't mind the toilet paper shortage too much. I just worry about running out of tinfoil .

Better start buying and eating Hershey Kisses … save the rapping. I eat lots of Kisses and could start saving the rappers for you.

You are correct, they have successfully managed to instill panic. Here in Alabama all restaurants are drive through or curbside service only. I hear it's the same in Mississippi. Sad times!

One of our family restaurants in La Porte, IN that serves an average of 800 people a day is CLOSED...they do very little carry out and are not set up for that type of service. Costs them $200.00 just of electric to open the door every morning and a few carry outs wont cover that. They have a staff of 50+ people who are going to be hurting soon. They have been in business for over 30 years so they will survive but a lot of the new/smaller guys wont.

I wonder if the online teachers will spark a reduction on (Chicago) teaching staffs after this?

I have a costumer (painted her home) who lives in Long Beach, IN (Northern Indiana) and is a full time teacher in the Miami/Dade school system. When the computers started coming into the class room she got on board and now 'telecommutes' vi the internet (live web cam) with her students in Miami every day.

Everyone knows I a Little nuts....I drive 120 miles one way to have my dealer change my oil. Nielsen's Ent, Lake Villa, IL has taken very good care of me.... I don't claim to be good with the wrenches...If I really wanted to I could do the oil change and a lot more I just don't care to do the wrenching on my Slingshot.

Will the purchase of another extended warranty be good or bad?
    mine ends on 20APR20

I personally would not buy anything but the Polaris warrantee... If you bought the 3yr and already had the original 2 yr that's all Polaris offers. If your looking at buying the extended 3yr, I would, Look around you can get some nice discounts.

Ditto. When my wife and I were married we bought a brand new Ford. Shortly after the engine block cracked. Ford treated us horribly. I took the vow at that time as well.
    Found On Road Dead (FORD)

    I'm OLD but still kicking.....

Okay, solved the mystery of the red dot above the menu bars, now on to the red dot above my avatar that lights up when any of my friends are online. It's nice, but I don't need a continuous reminder... lol

Some of us need some reminderssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I wear a 3/4 helmet with a fill down face shield for times when it's --- along with frog togs …

Lot of good info here to sort through. I know we will only deploy the top when it is raining since we both love to be in the sun. Right now we are leaning towards the Stowaway Soft Top. I'd really like to hear from someone that has that top and see if they are happy with it.

If you are buying a top for rainy days --- DON'T.

Yeah, I debated getting a small trailer for the SS itself, even looked at one of the tear drop ones that you can sleep in or making one of that expedition tent mounts for trailer. But I've got the cargo / toy hauler now (worked on roughing in some more plumbing yesterday, starting electrical today).

That being said, doing it all over, I would have bought a small motor home and an open trailer for the SS because I could have used the MH by itself when I needed. (I also go to Renaissance festivals.)

The Slingshot should fit right in with the 'Renaissance festival' …

So, as a new SS owner that bought one in late September and has not seen hot weather yet..... Why do so many owners say you need a top to get relief from the sun?

I routinely drive thousands of miles on vacation all around the country on my two wheeler and rarely feel like I need relief from the sun.

Is the SS that much hotter/different than my bike???

88,000+ miles in the seat of my Slingshot "TOPLESS" … Lots of different reasons for the tops, but my recommendation to new Slingshot owners get lots of seat time in before going to nuts with 'mods' --- so many things that we can do but any change you make will effect things down the line. One comment was getting air movement into the cockpit … lots of different things we can do for this from things we can buy to things that we can put together and not spend a lot of $$$.00 .
