but I don't buy products from anyone who will take my money or charge my card before a product actually ships - - there just too much that can and will go wrong

this happens a lot, especially with KIT purchases. My recent order being one. However I am lucky that the company I ordered from has an excellent reputation and I am not worried at all. I guess there are chances that have to be taken. The size of the company vs the popularity of the vehicle has a little bit to do with it. Not making excuses, nor stating it is ok to provide shitty customer service because that just isn't right.

Like everyone else and purchases, for me I don't think i have any major regrets except ideas that i thought would work or i wanted and just didn't come to fruition. I was going to put 3D lettering on the hood and never did. I think i wasted only about $20 on the letters. The CAI and CAT DELETE Pipe that I am not able to resell once my turbo comes in to me was worth it because i ran that kit for at least 2 years. But I have some HIP speaker pods that i spent about 200 on that i dont use because sitting in the seats muffles those speakers. so i took them out and they are sitting in the garage.

Hey I wanted to drop an update. or is it a gripe lol. I ordered the brake master cylinder brace or support, anyway, it mailed, should have been here two days ago, but for some reason didnt reach so i have been tracking it through USPS. According to their information it went a couple of days just sitting and was late, then it hit richmond virginia so it should have mailed out the next day. well instead some AXXHOLE put it on the wrong truck because the next check in shows the part showed up at a regional facility in South Carolina. HOW ON EARTH do they get that I live NORTH of Richmond, and they want to send my part 2 states SOUTH of where I live and that this is OK? I hope that the rest of my parts dont do the same thing. Totally Ridiculous.

    the grounding @ issue

I would have to put my money on the same thing. the Power adapter that hooks up through the antennae and into the back of the radio of course is grounded and i thought that would ground it enough, but i guess i will have to try to ground it somehow from the frame itself and see what happens. MACAWS , I did the stubby one first and it didnt work so i thought i would have to get a much longer whip and it didnt make any difference at all. they both pulled in the same reception. SoCal , I blue tooth to listen to music and yes sir it is spotify, but i can only listen to my liked songs for so long lol. i havent found one that is similar to radio.

uh huh well if you only knew lol. plus there are so many more things that i want to do and right now just dont think i should push it. i want the hood vents. i want hood cut out and i want to change my audio, very displeased with the Sony AX-100. the radio isnt for shit on that thing. can only listen to blue tooth. and quite a few other upgrades i want to do to it.

Well I think i am going to have to hide out in the hills for a bit when the wife finds out what all i have done lol. She already knows I bought the turbo kit, but she doesnt know that i added the angle drive brace, brake master cylinder brace, Hawk Brake pads so i might have to lay low til the storm goes by lol.

has anyone used PK Lights for anything? I bought a batman air dam light and installed it yesterday. I need to hook up power but the piece is on. (pictures coming)

the design is printed on a 3d printer but it doesnt quite curve to the shape and fit of the SS front wing. Have to do a little modification to get it where it needs to go.

that sounds awesome. they say it will be about 2 weeks to come in so i dont have a set time frame yet. i can wait until after uncorked. That is going on during my Bday and have work going on so it can wait. as soon as the kit comes in i will let you know. in the mean time i will be clearing out my garage so that i have some space to work lol. I am trying to build a list of everything that i am going to need because I dont know lol. such as Oil, how much, what type, and antifreeze? all that good stuff.

I just ordered the DDM Works Stage 1 turbo kit and was wondering if there was anyone with experience with this in my local area that might want to stop by for a little wrench time. I have plenty of beer and food if that helps get you closer lol. I am also going to be running wires for the accessory fuse block and the wiring for the heated seats that i havent put in for quite a very long time that is way overdue lol. So if you are interested in helping out and sharing your experience and knowledge that would be awesome. I am certain i can follow the directions they are sending with the kit but would be a whole lot better off with someone around that knows exactly what they are doing. Let me know if there are any special requests (within reason of course) that might also sweeten the pot. It is at least another 2 weeks out until it will get here. ;(:TURBOSS:

i just ordered the DDM Works Stage 1 yesterday and I am already at the window lol. I know it will be at least 2 weeks and want to start prepping the sling, like taking off the hood, remove the oil pan and get the old gasket off and anything else that will make installation go quicker. But if i do that then i can't drive it while waiting lol. what a conundrum. hmmmm. guess i will stay here at the window for now lol.

These look like they would work if I had applied the Rivnut to the plastic panel before I attached the metal panel with the 3M tape. For those who are installing a rear panel in future, I think I would look into this!

with the rivnut, drill the hole, insert the rivnut with the tool, it compresses it and locks it into the hole, that leaves a metal threaded piece and then you can put on and take off the rear panel any time you need to. I have started using this for everything I put on now. This way i can take things off if they aren't working right.

i install them into the plastic and then use the screws just like you would any other product. kind of like putting a screw into a light switch cover, if that explains it better. here is a pic that i installed the mats in the cockpit with rivnuts and then screwed them on. You will have to zoom in to see it.

do you use RIVNUTS? since i had seen them used on here i don't use anything else. That tool is the next best thing to slice bread lol
