That looks better than the heart charm I was going to send you to wear with the bone attached to it LOL

Funny...now you mention gay. Weren't you the one whinging about personal attack and getting back on topic LOL True colors..true colors. What else do you have. The more you type.

OKAY. Back on topic with POLITICS SUCK because baiting Pudding is too easy.

Does anyone know if California has figured out how they managed to leave off "The Fonz" in exercising his right to vote, along with so many others? lol

Swing and miss again Pudding. Pudding you and your imaginary friends. Something wrong with being physically strong with intellect? Hey JJ Watt just graduated from Baylor with a degree in Psychology if I can recall correctly.

Pudding I see you're going to stick with "your" for everything now lol

Now you're claiming someone talked about your family! Where was that Pudding? You're making up things again for sympathy! Get over yourself. See, my posts are not edited and no one ever mentioned your family or race. You mentioned both :D

So, Pudding--you say I'm one flavor--you just have to be vanilla...no way!

Pudding, do you see this giant spoon? Yep, this one. "Stirring the pot".

smh...stuck on race I see. I'll tackle this one. Use of the "N" word isn't okay in any audience or setting. No one uses it in my presence, black, white, green, yellow, blue..get the idea! I don't support anyone that uses the word, including Chris Rock. So, I know his history of using profanity and that word--and I won't watch his comedy because it's offensive but you were watching it. What does that tell you? Now you're here posing a question about what you think is a double standard against those who may not be the same color as him.

I can't tell Chris Rock how to make his money or how to have a moral, ethical compass about the damage or harm he causes..he has to come to terms with that but I can decide not to support him until he figures it out.

NOW, with the RICH history of that word in the US, why would you be upset that you can't use that word? Concerned that it's backwards? What kind of flawed argument is that?

OKAY @Bill Martin Let's talk about flawed arguments and lay the ground rules.!!

Not all fans are upset about the kneeling, as some understand that the kneeling was done out "of respect".

Kneeling was never meant as a "political protest" but a "civil protest". There have been many who have walked out on their jobs for civil protests, or for unfair working conditions. The problem goes back to how this has been skewed by every news agency that has a camera and anchor person. From that broadcast to every home triggers either a negative or positive response from the home viewers. Those at the game really didn't care what was going on as they were busy shoving hot dogs down their mouths during the National Anthem. It's all perception.

Whether the POTUS felt slighted that he only had 10 players willing to visit him...well, it was his right to rescind his offer. He neither extended the offer to the champions of the WNBA either but the news wasn't playing that 24/7. Again this year there will not be an NBA team heading to the oval office for photo ops or on the WH lawn.

Wow..second response for this color in less than 24hrs and Painter was all over it. Now, I'm curious to what the PPG number would be as that would be an easier option for me. I'm happy I waited a bit before heading into HD tomorrow :)

LOL Once again @BONES do you read half of what you type? Hockey? Intelligent? Where's the data? You keep proving my point. You keep pointing the finger about education but can't figure out the use of "your and you're". Yet, you wan't to make a personal attack on an NBA player, with your buddy/side kick Funcycle in tow. Between the two of you, I'd think you could figure it out.

NOW, when you're ready to move on as you stated..do so. You can't seem to stop bringing up race and in the next keystroke you keep typing how you don't care about it. You're one of those individuals who think racial profiling never existed and the moon landing was faked right?

Instead of bones, I'm going to refer to you as pudding. Your soft nature and ability to keep conforming-"to what you think might make you have a voice". I guess you're not a friend of Emerson or Thoreau? Nah, you haven't made use of Webster's to get that far..

FYI as you mentioned hockey as an intelligent sport--did the great Wayne Gretzky ever graduate from high school? What degrees did he earn that were not honorary? You keep wanting to looking for a way to measure intellect or class. Do you really think "your" measures are definitive and universal for all? If so, you really have too high of an opinion of yourself.

Honestly, I just like finding fault in your logic--"stirring the pot".

I'll leave you with the word of the day..ambivalence.

    My apologies @Painter.

*SIGH* I'm still here, not wavered by the antics and not flinching. Not whining about "attacks". I'm willing to take away the air, space and provide opportunity, it's that simple. I'd rather be a friend to all but I know that's not life. Yet, I don't like a bully--never have and never will.

    Gunny made that post..go figure.

FunCycle keeps wanting to be part of the group late in life, and talks about blocking but keeps finding a way to read...move on nothing to see here--as posted.

NOW, back on topic before I make this graduation. You may not like what one man contributes to the world and he may not like what you do as an occupation to contribute...but wishing ill will on him to affect him and his family--cowardly.

I pointed to the numbers of viewership but that wasn't responded to....

Amazing to see the quick response to whine and call others liberal if they disagree on a post. You don't know if they are liberal, republican or conservative...or just maybe, stirring the "pot" as posted.

LOL I'm happy that I was on the first group buy to protect my rear after seeing Reaper's post LOL Gloss Red it was LOL...ummm...now, I should have read the warranty paperwork to see if it was penetration proof LOL

Don't delay! Protect your rear today! Gloss Black ($80), Flat Black ($75), Gloss Red ($85), Clear Diamond ($75), ready to ship...

In honor of @Tripod "Protect your rear because people just can't control the urge and Prep-H is only for afterwards....Don't delay! Protect your rear today! Gloss Black ($80), Flat Black ($75), Gloss Red ($85), Clear Diamond ($75), ready to ship" Don't get caught with one or your rear can get tore up LOL...

I'm sorry @SlingLow it's the middle of the week and as I read your post Tripod came to mind and I knew he or @MiM would have been all over that post lol

Bones, you don't frighten anyone! Try that bully crap with someone that might be afraid of your font! IF you know who I am I will pay for you a free ticket to my location, as you're so anxious to prove yourself, and a free self inflicted old fashion ...! That way you have every chance to try and use your muscle and might!! If you want me to set it up on a venue I can do it that way as well! I don't scare at all! I think this time you bit off more than you can chew. NOW, go chew on that for a bit and blame spell check...AGAIN!!

You've tried belittle any and everyone who's posted opposite of you and now you've cried foul...talk about being a cry baby! If you were the bigger man you wouldn't be wishing that people's career would end with injury, chew on that for a bit.

That's far beyond a simple auto correct, stop making excuses. Perhaps "YOU ARE THE PROBLEM" but too blinded by your own self opinionated beliefs to understand, accept and grow from it. That glass house you're living in, I won't say more. You're still dealing with the child inside, therefore this conversation will never progress.

Although, I think you protest a bit too much. It's easy to yell the loudest and sound the most profane--but what does it get you? How does it validate your point?

You whine about the race card but no where in my response was race mentioned. You question every person who doesn't agree with your wayward thinking and you think you can tell someone not to question you? LOL YOU REALLY HAVE A MISGUIDED OPINION OF WHERE YOU'RE SITTING IN THAT IVORY TOWER.

FYI-anything I'll type to a man on the internet, I will say to him face to face. I don't believe in keyboard warriors. I honestly don't believe in keyboard tough guys who try to intimidate from a modem, a picture....remember Goliath took a fall.

Now with that housecleaning out of the way.

Back to the facts of stirring the pot. Did you get the numbers? IF anyone can play basketball where's your NBA contract? Your millions, shoe contract, sponsors? NOT! Those aren't jabs, just simply to show that we are not all LeBron, Gretzky, and/or Dale Earnhardt. God gave them their own gifts.

FYI--LOSERS...no auto correct can make that happen. Stop blaming auto correct for what you can not get right. Stop using auto correct as a crutch. Blaming auto correct for misspelling words...smh. That's not a jab, that's my early morning "acceptance is the first step".

@Painter, thanks kind sir as always! Trying not to make mistakes with smaller projects on the horizon and it's great to come across threads like this! I don't feel like a dunce asking the question because those in the community will know we're all truly seeking knowledge, and those that have it are so willing to share it. I'm actually one of those nerds who keeps notes from the forum LOL So, I'm truly appreciative of the knowledge and wisdom shared on a daily basis in one post or another.

I'm going to stir the pot, for all throwing the "uneducated" crap around :D:rolleyes: . Look back through this thread if you need a reference point, for those wonderful comments that have not been able to differentiate between "plain and plane", when to use then or than. Like the first Verizon hit commercial, "Can you hear me now?" lol NOW, do you really want to throw all the "uneducated comments" around because you'll be casting a wide net for those who are cheering you on...*sigh*. Don't shoot the messenger for pointing out the obvious..hmm, another commercial.

Wishing something tragic to another man's career, only God knows your heart.

I don't care if a person is a plumber, welder, janitor, announcer, athlete, attorney or whatever field they ultimately decided to do in life--their choice. I respect their decision to contribute to their communities and make an impact using their God given talents. Ultimately, the goal is for them to be gainfully employed and contributing. Every man, or woman will have in some way dedicated time, studying and repetition into their craft. I would never want to take that away from a person, by wishing ill will and misfortune on them.

Who watches the NBA? Look at the numbers--you might be in for a wake up call if you weren't sure of the answer. Higher viewership than Nascar? NHL? Owners are paying attention to those numbers, along with sponsors, cable networks and advertisers. Guess where they are putting "their" advertising dollars?

Yes sir, stirring the pot...way past my bedtime LOL

@SlingLow so very true LOL Dead men or women tell no tales..hence why I avoid eye contact and don't talk back to my wife LOL

Actually, I'm very lucky to have USAA and State Farm as insurers. I'm sure in some areas I could reduce the cost but the customer service, professionalism and ability to process claims over 20 plus years have won us over. The wife loves USAA and of course State Farm has won me over. So, with more than enough vehicles, recreational toys, trailers, etc. using the two have allowed us to lower our bills by splitting between the two carriers. We're still able to get the multi-vehicle discounts (yes, they do stop the discounts as X amount of vehicles) by using the two. So, with no car notes, our insurance is our note we're happy to carry for times like these. They have responded as we thought they would--minus a little attitude from one telephone claims agent who was impatient as he sorted through the particulars but that was easily corrected. If we don't receive everything dollar for dollar that was in the trailer, we're okay with it. If we don't receive half of the value of everything, we're okay with it. We're just blessed that we have our lives and each other. The material things are just that. It's just another another opportunity for one of the biblical lessons to be placed into actions...as the bible reminds us that a man that is attached or in love with the earthly things can not be in love with God, for the things here on earth are temporary. As, we sat in the beginning of Vacation Bible School it was funny to hear the teacher of my particular class go over his lesson. In his lesson two of the things that were pointed out was man being given permission to eat meat and institution of capital punishment.... So, I was quietly reminded about taking of a life, and encouraged to eat a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich as comfort food LOL

@SlingLow now you know why I wasn't beating down your message box for the racks when you reduced the price for MV LOL

Thanks @STYLN. You have echoed what family, friends, LEO's and neighbors have said for the last week. In fact, the trailer was parked in front of our home and it could have been much worse with my wife walking outside interrupting a theft in progress, or my neighbor who leaves early in the morning.. I'd rather them have stolen it away from my home...

Thanks for the offer as always STYLN!

As I stated if you're standing directly over it, depends on your state law and where the theft occurs. Everyone should know there state laws and any state they may be traveling to where they may be legally carrying a firearm. I don't advocate the taking a life..so please don't take it as such. Neither do I encourage a thief to take another's personal property without the consequences of local or state law.

As for the place having "very good security", I have not heard of any storage facility with zero thefts. If you find one, point me to it. Trust me, I'm not very happy with the theft of our trailer and the security you pointed out was part of the recovery process and actually will be part of the prosecution. The lot actually closes at 7pm reopens at 7am, I placed hands on the trailer at noon. Either someone with prior rental or current rental on the property had a hand in it. Sounds as if you may not be familiar with storage facility rentals but most rental contracts require that you carry your own insurance. I almost invested in a storage rental facility and it would be an absolute nightmare providing insurance rental contracts to everyone renting out a storage unit, RV unit, shop on property etc.

My post was to perhaps help others who might be considering an enclosed trailer purchase, as they may forget about what may be covered when acquiring insurance through their agents. For those who currently who trailers it was a friendly reminder to review their policies to make sure they are covered for their "contents" in case of theft and how they are covered. As I was recently doing feelers for a new enclosed trailer for the SS a few months ago, I noticed that there have been quite a few others.

Again it wasn't just a place I "parked it". Things happen beyond our control. There are so many thieves...some are lucky not to become a victim...but there are those like me lol I'm still blessed..no weapon formed...

It is all but impossible to stop a real thief but for the dumb thieves you can install a security system and separate tacking system very economically. The tracking system can be programmed to allow the unit to be moved about inside an invisible fence that you determine the boundaries of. There are lots of possibilities.

BTW: Sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope they caught the thieves and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.

Yes sir, and would you believe the battery failed?!?!?!? Talk about the stars lining up against me on this one. The second tracker that I had installed on the exterior I had removed the day prior as my intentions was to put the trailer up for sale that weekend! I jumped the gun and it proved to be very costly. If I had left well alone, the backup would have done it's job and I would have known immediately it was leaving the area unless the thieves had discovered it. Ghost, I've always run these systems on my motorcycles, trailers, riding lawnmowers....like you said cheap and economical. Amazon sells quite a few these days, before that eBay and Alibaba LOL

Sorry to see this! I'm always curious as to what types of lock or locks you had on the trailer. As a fulltime RVer, I see a lot of posts of stolen travel trailers on FB. Hope they can catch whoever stole it!

The doors had BRINKS highest rated circular locks that limited the ability to get a bolt cutter or other cutting device in place. Let's just say it appears that some type of plasma cutter made butter out of those from the marks left behind...no door locks found with the trailer. The pin lock for the hitch appeared to be cut on site as it was tossed near the trailer....so the coupler lock was probably taken as a trophy after they made easy work of it! A buddy of mine thought removing his tires was the way to go.....thieves showed up with tires and lug nuts and rolled off with his trailer!! Time to push for more spaces on the military installation to decrease chances of theft! It won't do away with it but it cuts down on the chance of it happening. You just suffer damage from those backing into your trailer and lying about it LOL

Damn @Zorasmiles ... This is sad news, I am glad you did get back. I can't imagine if mines was stolen...GRRRRRR X( thefts should loose a hand...or two.

Yep and perhaps the family jewels, so they will know the true value of what they have taken in life! Remember, your SS if parked in it will be covered by it's on policy if ever stolen but all the contents might be under your home owner's policy. That would be 3 claims. I definitely hope it never happens to you or anyone else in the Slingshot family!

When I secure our trailers (we normally secure the wheels as well--this was a hasty decision not to based on the fact that we'd return in 24hrs, as we did...along with zero history of trailer thefts with 4 at the moment) we understand that it is only a theft deterrent, not a guarantee that it can not be stolen. The same goes with our vehicles. They have alarms, some motion sensors, tilt sensors, etc. but they are only deterrents and if we're lucky discounts on our insurance LOL Watching the news last night there was a car dolly theft that a military veteran had rented from Penske. It was recovered in a subdivision where there was 3 stolen vehicles waiting to be transported, one a newer model Lexus! When my wife and test drove this vehicle a few months ago they raved about how this vehicle was virtually theft proof LOL Watching the news last night and seeing it lined up ready to be transported on a stolen Penske dolly reminded me that if you're not standing directly over it with a loaded firearm and willing to pull the trigger, anything can and will be stolen. If you don't pull the trigger, you're just a deterrent until someone calls your bluff *sigh*
