    Seriously do you really believe that if you parents had been on vacation in Germany when you were born that you would not be a U.S. Citizen???


    two ways to be a U.S. Citizen by birth - 1 - be born in the United States or 2 - be the biological child of a parent who is a U.S. Citizen

    There are only 2 types of U.S. citizens those like Obama who are citizens by birth (which does not require being born in the U.S. if one or both of your parents are U.S. citizens) and those who like my wife come to this country and then become citizens by going through the naturalization process.


    there is no other type of citizen - no 1/2 citizens or other options


    Even if Obama had been born on the moon by virtue of his mothers citizenship he would still be a natural born U.S. Citizen

    Actually our country is part of it. Rumor has it the Dems are behind it.     was just reading that San Francisco has it on the November ballot a bill that if passed would lower the voting age to 16 for all local elections. - - if it passes other cities are expected to follow

    I also really hate it when the cancel culture is used to shut down free speech that someone does not like - - especially when it is used to get someone fired for something they said when they were not even at work - - - or sometimes even years earlier.


    this is not freedom of speech - - people in my country are not supposed to be able to shut down the speech of others just because they dont like what they are hearing - - and lately this seem to be becoming acceptable and that should scare everyone

    to me when you talk about "cancel culture" I think of a group effort to shut someone else down and to cause them harm, When I think of "boycott" I think of an individual decision not to partake in something


    now I also think that these two things can cross over each other - - when people call for others to boycott something as a mass group that is cancel culture using boycott as a weapon


    I personally do not partake in professional sports (you could easily say that I boycott them) but I do not care if other partake or not and I have never called for anyone else to stop enjoying sports - - - as such I think it would be a huge stretch to try to say that what I am doing is a part of any cancel culture - - I just dont care for professional sports
