    We went out to my daughters house in Desert Hot Springs to drop some things yesterday afternoon went out Gene Autry and there was a good amount of blowing sand out near the I-10 - - - when we are having weather like this I try to keep my Slingshot riding away from the open areas where the sand can blow - - - that crap hurts at 60 mph - - aside from the wind I am enjoying our current weather very much, nice to finally be done with the 100's


    As a side note I am going to have to break out a light coat for tomorrow mornings ride into work - (I am off Mondays so didnt have to deal with it today)

    SoCal just for future reference whenever there is a substantial change in the weather it is a good time to avoid having to go through our pass - the low pressure zones that move in on one side or the other of the pass that cause the weather changes also make the air move from higher pressure zones into the low zone areas and that pass is like a big funnel - high temp to low temp differences can have the same effect moving the air through the pass


    last 2 days big weather changes - its only 74 here right now and pretty windy

    Yes - for the most part I think the left is all about "feelings" and they base their voting more on their feelings and emotions that on hard empirical data.


    Heck I think you make your political choices primarily on your feelings and emotions - - I think your dislike and negative "feelings" for Trump are a huge driver of you voting decisions both in 2016 and now


    I suspect your vote for Biden is more based on your emotional hate for Trump than it is on any hard data that you have seen that you believe shows he can do a better job than Trump


    Oh and as a side note I do not consider "fear" to be a policy and so far in this election cycle that seems to be pretty much the only thing the left is pushing - fear of trump, fear of what ACB might do fear of COVID, fear of conservatives, fear of police, fear of everything and if you vote for us , the left you won't have to be afraid - - its all emotion driven BS and it seems to be the only thing the left has to sell

    being a centrist or a conservative or a libertarian does not require you to be aligned with a party - they are not the same - its like saying you have to belong to a church to be a Christian


    If it were up to me there would not be any parties - - I think political parties only exist so that those running them can gain power


    Heck I feel very similarly about most churches - its all about power over people - - - - not something I believe Jesus would approve of

    It shouldn't have been. The absentee ballot needs to be requested and should contain identifying and trackable information. A mail in ballot can be photocopied.

    my mail in ballot was trackable - in fact I was e-mailed when it was mailed to me and could track it and I tracked it on its return and have verified that it has been received by Riverside County and my signature has been verified and the ballot accepted


    actually this year it was more trackable than past years absentee which I could only confirm that they received it after I mailed it back - - there was no notification when it was sent out to me like this year

    so with all of this divide....should it be mandatory that whatever the party of the elected president a Vice President should be Of the other party. Vice President election could be held

    after the president is sworn in...it might force more cooperation between parties...

    Vice president from the other party would simply be relegated to unimportant tasks by the President


    no point - - - seriously imagine the impeachment pressure there would have been if Trumps vice president and potential replacement were a Democrat
