I guess nobody is concerned enough to do some simple research....just blindly take an EXPERIMENTAL untested vaccine.... [which usually wouldn’t be released for use for 10 years) .....especially when all Bill Gates talks about in public on videos..... is he can reduce the population by 10-15% with VACCINES.....ASK YOURSElf why would he say that?

    HELLO IS ANYBODY IN THERE?

We trust it because you don't - and also because the Trump Administration is responsible for creating it to stop the China Virus - - - -duh!

Is this needed on the 2020 and 2021? I don't go fast enough to need brakes I just drag my foot to stop so hadn't noticed a problem.

I dont know if polaris has made any changes to the 2020 or 2021 years that would have addressed the issue of master cylinder movement, but looking on slingmods they do say that the brace fits all years including 2020 and 2021

I think Dave@DDMWorks would be able to answer this question

The question is, how long will that protection last? Will we need to get annual Covid booster shots? I think that’s likely...

its very hard to tell, we are still very early on with this thing - - - now having said this think about all of the things that vaccines have pretty much eliminated without any need for annual vaccines - things like polio, It is possible that if we get enough people vaccinated and combine that with people who have natural immunity from having had the virus that this thing could stop mutating - it can only mutate inside people it infects so it is possible that herd immunity as they call it could pretty much stop it long term - - but this also means world wide herd immunity - won't do a dang bit of good if only some countries get to herd immunity - the virus will just keep mutating in the other places and then be brought around the world by travelers

or perhaps like you suggest it will be like the flu with new vaccine needed each year to adjust for mutations

and then there's a third option that they come up with a universal COVID vaccine that will cover any mutation at least enough so that they can no longer kill people - then it will just become something we get from time to time but don't really worry about it

or last, but not least perhaps all of these vaccines will become like the cancer cure in I Am Legend - - - you remember the one that killed almost everyone off and turned the rest into night creatures trying to kill Will Smith - - - a remake of a remake - good movie except for the GSD having to die ;(

But havent you noticed that the flu has "magically" disappeared. 🤫

Yes I have, but there is no magic about it - - the precautions that people have been taking to limit the potential spread of COVID have also limited the spread of the Flu virus that, along with a huge increase in the number that got the flu shot, and it was totally predictable that number of reported cases of the flu would be way down.

as a side note, today was the 14th day after my second dose - as such the protection provided by the vaccine should be at full strength and I have to admit that it does make me feel much more comfortable when I am around other people knowing that even if they are sick with COVID I am protected - - - - - - I like it and I like it even more that my wife is also protected

DDM Works Master Cylinder Brace update

Okay, spent my first day doing my daily commute with the new master cylinder brace and I am very pleased - no more mushy brakes and no more inconsistency - No it didn't suddenly make the brakes bite like a race car, but it did get rid of the feeling like there was a big spring that would mush down when I pressed the pedal and it did remove the inconsistent feel that made it hard to trust

I can honestly say I like the feel of the brakes much better now and I my confidence & comfort level is much higher

I don't need race car brakes and I don't really need some super bite - - all I want and need is something that I know will work and will work the same way each and every time - - I honestly feel that the DDM Brace has finally given me this

    I wish I had done this way back in the beginning - - $$ well spent - - - - thank you Dave@DDMWorks

I also think that the DDM Short Shifter is one of the best mods to do first. About the only other two mods that I tell everyone about and to do are the CAI and the Cat delete pipe. I have spent a lot of money on things that did not help anything. One being everyone wants to do exhaust systems even when the stock system with the cat delete pipe sounds just as good or better to me than most systems out there. I am still running the stock muffler (internal cat has been bypassed) on Sling II. One day I will check the speed/power between Sling I with everything including the tune and Sling II

Yes - I have had the DDM short shifter for a long time and agree it is one of the best mods - - - I have stayed away from exhaust mods as this is California and even though "motorcycles" are not subject to smog inspections in California things can change as to CAI I haven't bothered with that either - - I saw some tests that Kyle D did with cat's and the power gains just didn't seem to be enough to justify the $$ - - in the end I decided that a K&N filter in the stock air box was probably as good as any of the other options - - and as with the exhaust - this is California and you just never know what the crazy left government might decide to do

Now if you do not have the Hawk 5.0 pads you need to get them. If you do not like dust you can try the Hawk ceramic pads

    Thanks

I will definitely keep this mind - - - - are there any other mods that you consider "must have" mods for the NA Sling driver??

I figure with your reputation as a very skilled driver combined with the huge number of slingshot miles you have put down you probably know better than most which mods provide the most bang for the buck

okay - my DDM Master Cylinder brace arrived this afternoon and as advertised it was a very easy 10 minute install. When I was done I took the sling out for a very short ride for a few blocks to see if it made any difference - - - the answer is a resounding YES

One of my biggest complaints about my brakes over the last almost 4 years has never been that they don't work, my complaint has been inconsistency - every time I stop for the first time the first time I push the peddal has felt soft as if it wasn't going to work, then if I press it a second time - - then it feels much better - - - - - Now that inconsistency seems to be gone - first push feels much better and second and third feel the same - - - - - - did this make my brakes perfect - of course not, but this does seem do do exactly what I was hoping it would do - - - no more mushy first push of the pedal - - more consistency and predictability so I can feel more confidant on what will happen every time I need to stop

all in all - - defiantly a mod worth the money

SoCal - - - hope this tells you what you wanted to know

Why not? EASY to put on, feeling "freeeeeeee" in the breeze...

If you look at anatomy, it should be the men wearing the kilts and the women wearing the pants. How many times you had to "adjust" yourself in your jeans?

I have seen "men" in Palm Springs on more than one occasion wearing a skirt/kilt

Not only do they seem popular among the "White Party" crowd that likes to hang out here, but I have even seen a few men who didn't seem to fit in with that group.

Personally I wouldn't be caught dead in one, but with our 110-120 degree summer days I can imagine that the airflow might be rather nice

Does the heat escaping from the vent add to the heat in the cabin? Heat coming over the windshield?

this is an good question - I suspect that with my double bubble windshields, and the vent sitting right in the gap between the windshields that the airflow through that area will keep it from being an issue - - - unlike the area behind a full normal windshield where a vacuum is created the area between the double bubbles is like a wind tunnel

But if I am wrong I will certainly let you know

Edit: One of the reasons why I chose the Assault hood vent was because I think the raised wedge design is not only very different from all of the other options but I think it will pair nicely both in looks and in function with the double bubble windshields

another thing to keep in mind if anyone decides to go with run-flats is that you also are going to want a tire pressure monitoring system - - it is possible with run-flats to not know its flat or very low on air and damage them by exceeding the run-flat speed and distance limitations

all of the run flat tires I have seen have been very expensive might be worth it for the fronts - I have been getting good tread life out of the Nitto Motivo's I am running in front, but on back where tire life is rather short not sure it would be worth investing

also I have seen any run-flat options even come up in my past searches for the 20 inch rear - - -
