You can't imagine the feelings of guilt that I have had to carry.
The visions of federal law enforcement kicking in my door and hauling me out of my home in front of my family.

I am beginning to feel uneasy now because this now opens the door for that individual to quote law found on the internet.... so sorry.

Living in Colorado since 93, almost every year we have idiots that light something on fire...even after fire restrictions have been placed. These entitled asshats endanger the lives of the residence in the area, the wildlife, and create an environmental hazard every damn year! The fact that Colorado has a "Fire Season" is ridiculous and it pisses me off. I have gotten to the point where I use my dash cam to film people throwing out cigarette butts out of there car and sending the footage to local authorities. It carries a $5k fine and up to 2 years when fire restrictions are in place. When there isn't, it still carries up to a $750 fine.
The two keys words to look at in your post is "up to" those are plea bargain words. The other thing I would mention is that courts can impose fines but usually have no way to collect them.

Some lawyer will plea bargain it down to 10 days in jail and 5.00 dollar fine.

I am trying to find my daughter a car. It’s starting to be a pain in the ass. She is in the Navy in the nuclear program? She is already approved through a navy credit union has a check to buy. You would think it wouldn’t be a problem but it has been. One Ford place came out and asked her how old she was and said they didn’t have time to mess with her. I am out West with work so can’t go deal with this. So if you have a dealership in the southeast and want to sell a car without bullshit let me know. She is interested in a Jeep Wrangler 2 door.

Is it just me? For some people this forum has become a google equivalent rather than a focus for information on our great slings.
Slingshot/Bagworminfo.com? I can mostly deal with derailed threads and differences of opinion but please folks, give us a break.
I hope there is no limit on threads that can be ignored or posters blocked.Yeah it's just you. I have no problem helping someone out who asks a question in the "other than slingshots" part of the forum. It's just being neighborly. I find nothing wrong with that. Now on the other hand if your neighbor comes over to your house and says "what's in your mailbox" feel free to punch him out.

Welcome aboard @Chad, if you prefer the color of the SL than it is a great plan. If you like the look of a lower trim better, you can always add wider rims and tires and shocks for the same price or less than Polaris charges to upgrade. Driving on the interstate is totally safe as you can get around most people with ease from an acceleration standpoint. You may want to upgrade the wind screen of you are doing a lot of interstate driving.
I listened to a lot of talk about what you just said and I was glad I went with a 2017 SLR. I'm not experiencing many of the problems a lot of 15 and 16 owners have had and no need to do a bunch of upgrading. Nice that I went used for 20,500.00 and don't have to put up with fixing factory defects the factory wouldn't fix. Glad I spent a little more, it was worth it for me.
