just curious. You didnt have a gmail account on that phone did you. It's possible you might have all your numbers online. When you setup the gmail account it sets the sync process up unless you opted out. It would have also synced the pictures to Google photo when you plugged in each night to charge it.
Well Ya, how else they going to copyright your photo's and read your email before you do? It's all so elementary my dear Watson.

Right now we have the federal government, the FAA and closed door meeting with big corporate America trying to force drone flying hobbyist out of the sport. Why? Well I'm glad you asked. Amazon, Domino's pizza and others who want to start delivering boxes by drone to your front door want all the airspace to themselves and you bet your poopy britches some politicians are getting paid big money by big money to make sure this happens. None of these jackasses in DC work for the American people anymore.

That was just plain stupid to say. But most of what I have read here is up to date blathering that's been going on since politics began. Obama did one thing no other president never wanted to do... He ordered a Seal Team to find and kill Osammy bin laden and then ordered his body dumped in the ocean where nobody would find it. I thought that was pretty damn cool myself. Bush had him cornered in Pakistan and let him escape on horseback. Other times snipers have had him in their scopes but by the time they follow the chain of command to get permission to shoot he was already long gone. Politics needs a bad guy to blame things on and that is why bin laden stayed alive. At least we had one president with enough balls to have him killed. Of course that was the only great thing Obama did but I do like to give him kudo's for it.

I said earlier that I was going to bow out of this thread for awhile and I was convinced to stick around, now I think my original instinct was correct.
I want to be here on this forum to hang out with friends, learn from them and contribute my knowledge whenever possible.As to this particular sub forum I have made my views pretty clear, I think the Democrats and Republicans are all in the same club and we are not allowed in that club.
as such all I can do by staying here is to repeat myself which really wont change a thing and in the end will just make me more depressed about the current state of our country
As such I will bid you all farewell, I am going back to talking about something that brings us all together, our slingshots. I might be back in a few days. or maybe not

I have also looked into them, but the one I want is rather pricey and I've held off for now. @av8ingtom has the one I want, but the price starts around $1100 when I looked back in the summer. It has the auto home feature, and enough AI to try to avoid crashing when it does. Tom lost his temporarily while at Dry Falls in NC, and he hit home and it showed up right above him about 2 minutes later. It has great video, and takes high resolution stills. It is a sweet machine for certain. Pretty sure he'll chime in when he has time.
The Phantom 3 is going for around 500.00 now and batteries are about half the price (67.00) of the phantom 4 batteries. It does have auto return home. You should buy one and have it shipped to me so I can make sure it is totally safe for you to use.

I have the Phantom 3 Standard. It seems to do everything I ask of it. Photos are decent as well, although I do not print any off. Just view and share them with freinds. Only once have I struggled to get it to come back to the launch area, but that was more my error in flying in a super heavy wind. My only criticism of it is the flimsy cell phone holder it comes with. That can be swapped out with an aftermarket one easy enough though. Overall I am very pleased with its capabilities.

I'm hoping I'll be able to to use my Samsung tab 4 (10 inch) with A/M holder with it. If not I will take the tab 4 out back and shoot it, haven't found much use for it.

I would probably get into some pic and video but not to heavy, mostly do some zooming around. Shouldn't be to hard to find a place to fly one round here. Max altitude is 400 feet and 5 miles from an airport (FAA rules). Thinking a Phantom 3 would be good enough although the P4 is a bit more stable. I think the P3 has the return home but yes I probably wouldn't buy one without that feature. I've done some RC stuff and have 50 rusted hours in Cessna 150 and 172. Amazing how many rules, regs and what not's they can come up with for a toy. Gotta have em as some people ain't to bright. I'm not looking to buy till I know more about them and maybe catch a after Christmas sale (if I can wait that long). Ya never know with me.
