The saga continues. Decided to port over to T Mobiles prepaid plan for $18 a line. Wrong move. No coverage at all at the house. What they dont tell you is the prepaid plan locks you on the T Mobile towers, which there are none in my area. So they suggest bumping up to the Magenta plan at $35 a line which then gets you Sprint towers and get a T Mobile booster. Booster only works in the house not outside. Still bad service. Tried to call my brother using voice command in the car, which worked fine on Sprint, and got SlingLow no matter what I tried. Now I find that I have been bumped up from $35 a line to $55 a line without my consent. Summary, I am now paying $30 a month more for less service. All this in less than a week. Going into store, online is useless, this am to see if I can drop the entire T Mobile deal and port back to Sprint.

    Stay tuned.........

Yup pretty much done with them. Was a die hard fan until they started screwing with the rules. Cut the 43 cars field back because they could not fill it, leasing tires to teams, mandating rear gears, issuing shocks, issuing ignitions and so much more. Had to level the playing field for under financed teams. Then they wanted to be like other sports by having the play off crap. The France family has made millions, maybe billions, off they backs of the people in the sport and who watched the sport, no more. They killed their golden goose. Goodbye NASCAR.

I feel like I need a mask for my finger/eyes reading this thread. At least it is keeping bd from posting on other parts of the forum.:00000004:

    Increase your cabin pressure.

Windshield vents, purchased from an aircraft supply company online. Google is your friend for this.

And push some air in from the front

Go to Lowes get the vaccum cleaner hose kit, use one floor piece for the intake and the other for the out flow. I cut a slot under the cowl in behind the glove box for the outflow. I think I'll try a bigger intake scoop in the near future. My wife likes the cooler air on her feet and up her side of the cabin. You might even do one for your side, I did not feel the need, yet.

I just knew that this was the right place to ask about cell phone providers, a wealth of knowledge from good friends.

Went to a t mobile store and talked to a guy there that just quit at sprint. Seemed to be a pretty straight shooter, no bs kind of guy. He showed me a prepay plan that would come close to our needs, 30 bucks for both plus the tax and fees stuff. Unlimited talk and text plus 2gb data. So much to look at.

Maybe time to clean the belt. I had a grinding/crunching sound a suspected a bearing, turned out to be a dirty belt. Easy to wash to eliminate the possiblity.

Now that brings back memories... I was working in a Humble station at the time they changed to Exxon . Still got the coat somewhere

I worked in a station across the street when the Tiger in Your Tank deal was going on. My boss at a Flying A station put out a sign that read "We clean tiger hair out of carburetors". We got a lot of chuckles out of it.

Maybe that's why mine did not change much, or what I thought was much. Did a GPS speed test after the taller tire install and was pretty close, guess it was just " Polaris Close" to begin with. Kinda toying with the idea of putting 20's on the front with taller sidewalls, I guess then I might see a speedo error.

The speed sensors are actually in the front wheels, not the rear or the tranny. No problem upsizing rear although too big may reduce torque. I've got 22 in the back and 20s in the front and my speedo is off right at 10% too slow (60mph on speedo = 66mph on the road).

BTW, it it's a newer SS, replace your rear angle drive gear oil at about 1500 miles and 5000 miles. That will GREATLY reduce the whine out of the gears. Polaris does only a rough machining on the gears and lets them final machine against each other. You'll see a lot of metallic particles in the first oil change, very little in the 2nd.

Thanks, I did not know the speed sensors were on the front wheels. Old dog just learned something new.

No problem up sizing on the rear tire. I did it and have no nanny issues, my speedo is off not enough to worry about.

Wash and dry the belt, put some dry lube on it to see if the noise goes away. Mine " sings" that way when it wants to be lubed. I use a wd40 brand dry silicone product, not wd40 wet.

Like BryanL I think I'll spend some or all of ours on a drive from the street to the shop that houses our truck, motorhome and slingshot. Right now we have the fifth wheel parked next to the shop. And the two axle and one axle trailers down at the lower shop. Labor and cement ought to be cheap now, right?
