@Turbosling does Alpha offer a power bleed service at events?

Did you run you 6mm air tube out of the bov above or below the intake air tube? Does it really matter since this side is much cooler?

Maybe one of the venders could offer power bleeding for a fee during Slingshots Across America.

Let me know if you need a walk through or anything. I can also FaceTime with ya and show you exactly how mine is run.
I still have to re-connect the driver side piping along with change out the spark plugs and fuel injectors. There is an addendum to the instructions saying I need to take off the intake manifold and drill a little hole in it. I hope to try and tackle some of this tomorrow after work. Thanks for the assistance

Do I need to remove the two bolts to install the intake air sensor or does it press in and hold in place with the rubber grommet?
I spoke to Alpha and the bracket needs to be removed before in stalling the sensor

Can someone with an Alpha turbo let me know if your oil and air lines match the locations of mine or maybe post a few pictures on this thread. Thanks

I know it's possible to test drive after the install without the hood but can I leave the side panel off also?

Not trying to confuse any issues, but I see you have an intercooler. I always thought if there's an intercooler, it was at least a stage II system. Stage I has no intercooler.
I was wondering the same thing. This link explains it some.Difference between stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 tuning modifications.

I have the Alpha stage 1 system.

The instructions say to remove the oxygen sensor but never tell you where to move it to or what to replace it with. Alpha stage 1 uses the factory manifold so should I ignore that step and leave it in?
The reason you remove the oxygen sensor is to prevent it from hitting the frame when you raise the engine up.

The piping for the air

Something to remember.... The oil pickup has to be sealed with a thin layer of gasket maker. It dosen't take a lot. but it has to be there...
Thankfully I noticed that on the oil pan that I took off and I did apply some on that section too.
Any tips on the ducting portion as I'm getting ready to start that now?

[quote='rabtech','http://www.slingshotinfo.com/index.php?thread/1244-turbo-install-questions/&postID=29621#post29621']Its in this area on both sides.
Thanks @rabtech
I was able to use the tab next to the starter and delicately pry against the spot where the starter mounting bolts go into the engine. -
Here are some pictures of the lines and piping for install reference
Where did you pry on the oil pan to break it loose? We have removed the 15 small bolts along with the 4 larger ones and it will not release.

Are you letting the tire shops jack up your slingshot and if so are you pointing out the jacking locations or are you taking the tires/rims off and driving them into the tire shop and reinstalling them yourself?

My dealer said there is a bulletin out on this.

I made a few jumper plugs that plug directly into the factory seatbelt light harness under the drivers seat. This turns off the seatbelt light on the dash.
No cutting wires here...just unplug the harness and plug this in.Can you share the components you used and maybe where you purchased them. I have a bad wire in my seatbelt latch and this would probably make the seatbelt light go off. Thanks

- I had my update done this morning and no sticking yet also.
put about 200 miles on after the update and still no issues.

Valentine sitting on the dash with Velcro and no known issues picking up radar from the rear. I also ran a power wire under the windscreen.
