@TravAZ you are a good man for spending the time to help make the tune even better.

So you're saying that the Alpha turbo spools up too quick for the dyno? Looks like you may have put a racing slick on it just to run it on the dyno.
-
Everyone at the event with a turbo without the improved head studs needs to go see Henry at Alpha and have them installed. If you think there's a high probability you will get a turbo I would go over and get the head studs put in. I followed that up with a short shifter and sway bar and then a trip to the Cycle Springs trailer for floor mats. I don't recall having that much fun spending money in a long time. Don't forget to bring those guys food and drinks as i'm sure they're busting their ass like they did in Colorado.

Did anyone else notice the new $9,999.99 performance steering wheel by Sparco offered on the base unit on the Polaris Website? WTF?
-
Next up will be a trailer that can haul two Slingshots.
-
No leaks!!?? And it will be fired up soon!
-
What spring are you going to start with? Will this require a new tune from Bob also?
-
If you are swapping oil pans you will need to lift the engine to pull out the pans. I think you will want to hold off on installing the turbo and exhaust until after that to leave room for clearance.
-
You need to cut the tape off. It will reach after that

Why shit no. I don't have ANY instructions.
I'm sure they didn't want to insult you with instructions since you could do this with your eyes closed.
-
I did mine since I had it in pieces already. Maybe you do not need to worry about that if they didn't include that in your instructions.

Did you drill out the little hole on the plastic intake manifold to prevent smoking while idling?
-
The rubber grommet is on the pipe portion on mine not on the metal bracket that bolts on. It was a bitch to push that sensor into the grommet too.
-
Here are pics of the location and the route for the hose.
-
Is your blow off pointing horizontal? Here are some pics. They did take some force to line up. Be sure you give half the rubber boot to each side also.
Don't forget to remove the little metal plate and put the sensor in before installing the pipes I had to take mine back off to do that as there is no room after it was installed. Also I think I put the pipes on the intercooler first and then lined them up to the throttlebody.

The base rear tire is a 265/35R18 10.4" wide tread with a 9.5" wide rim. My rear BF Goodrich is bald in the middle but looks new on the outside after 4000 miles and I ran it at 27 psi. If I switch to a 315 /30 R18 12.4" wide tread since it is about 2" wider and more likely to throw the middle of the tire out would it be more likely to wear in the middle faster? I do not want to go with a more narrow tire and give up grip. I'm guessing this is a side effect of running a lightweight vehicle so I 'm looking into tires used on a Lotus and Ariel Atom hoping to avoid that issue. Unless I can learn about a better option I may try the Michelin Pilot as I have seen those on another Turbo Sling and it did not wear in the middle.

@Toobad4u and @StickerDick were feeling all froggy and macho about our riding all the way to Auburn to see @ivor and the group for SSAA untill I hear this small voice from behind me say " Hey Mark", and I turn around and there is Anita @adventure4me and I come to find out she rode all by herself from Virginia with no backup and is riding the whole trip across with the fellows..... me and Stephen's ego's got a bit smaller that morning! @adventure4me, She is the WOMAN!!!!
The girl loves to drive fast and will shock many Slingshot drivers when she passes them while giving them the "speed up or get the hell out of my way look" I look forward to riding with her again
