Ordering the strut as in the one as more parts means more failures to me LOL
Not thinking the two would make any real difference other than looks.
Also with the Meansling top I added the double bubble windshield/ wind deflectors and a little red bling.
After second trip with the top I am getting used to it and liking it more and more.
    Now to get it washed

Yeah I need to slouch a little LOL
As you can see Im not a petite fella
I wear a normal half helmet (mushroom head)and it fits under the top just fine
May try to raise the front an inch if it doesn't get all shaky as was stable up to the 65 I took it today
Most likely flat stock with a inch of height shouldn't affect stability too much and not look to bad
Yes it does make a world of difference in the heat of Texas.
Did 30 mile drive to shake down any loose connections and the roof was Hoooot!!!
As in when I lifted it my hand turned red in the brief seconds it took to exit the sling.
I either have to trim my double bubble and maybe get the lifting strut kit also .
Over all I like it and would recommend it to a friend !!
    :00008040:
Gets lots of gawkers as in more than normal

Oh and RDuck my A bar clamps that the front knobs hold on are about 2.25 inches from end not the 1.5 inches in directions, wonder if my cab is that much shorter ?
Variance seem to be a lot on these toys of ours or I missed somethign in adjustments

Ok mines on and sitting in the 100+ garage, Damm Im getting old as this heat kills me, 30 min install took hour and a half as needed breaks, and beers :whistling::saint:
And thats cooler than in the drive LOL
Yerp need the assists for sure as double bubble needs trimming and gravity makes it so you have to hold with one hand (or the wind)
View is a little lower than I would like but will see after test drive once top stretches a little for better grip on velcro.
Head room seems good with Big head helmet on .
Is it sad Im in the garage going vroom vroom with a helmet on ?
Heck might not need the dark visor now.
Tops still wrinkled so will let it sit in the sun for a bit , may take a pic soon

Mines all but on as I have the frame and am doing finishing alignment. The front is a little low for me but will see once I get canvas on.
Double bubble will need some trimming, anyone know how much to start with .5 inch or more ?
Course I could jest get rid of the double bubble as dont like it that much anyway and was only for wife LOL.

Wait you like Jeeps also ?
LOL the wife has nixed that idea as I had one and was thinking of getting another , she said one project at a time .
Got the email and my ordered top should ship shortly to Round Rock Tx
We need a sun blocker down here as 100+ for months LOL
I look forward to rain but all it seems to do is cool 5 degrees and raise the humidity back up so its worse after .
    I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!

I ordered one, even on back order and hope Im lucky and in the first batch LOL
Wife didnt see the need , the need to spend money  erver !!!
This slingshot thing is getting costly.......

Im going to wait for the strut to see if I need it .
Also my contract is ending so until I find another in IT , Im dead meat if I spend more on my toy :whistling::thumbsup::evil:

Just a really good video on youtube will work well for install wit ha download link as I would use my Android tablet anyway after watching it on my big screen.
I think the flash drive would be a added cost and not meet as many people s needs a a Youtube video which works on just about anything for formats
    just saying ?

@Charisp welcome to the forum & congratulations on your new ride. Very sorry this happened to you. Your dealer needs to make this right!

I would probably carry it back to the dealer and ask to speak to the owner. Just explain why your back and what you want them to do. And give them a chance to clean the mess up. And that way they will be responsible for making it look new and if water gets into any electrical components they will have to fix it.

And welcome to the forum.. . Glad you made it here...

I agree with rabtech. Take it back to the dealer and voice your concerns. They should bend over backwards to make this right for you.

    I agree with them above.
Had something like that happen to motorcycle and they cleaned it up perfect as they also have parts for eveyhting they mess up
