    Now here is the current vendor status on this site.....


    I haven't structured a vendor area at this time. I wanted everyone to know that as soon as I do I will get back to everyone that has messaged me about being a vendor. I will let you know the pricing and how to post in your area. I can tell you that it won't be an astronomical price to have a simple thread with your products in it. For right now I don't mind if a few vendors want to post some of their items and have them getting some exposure. There isn't any reason to remove a post that is vendor related till I get the vendor section completed... The vendor section will be similar to a sticky thread that will allow the thread not to fall in rank and it will not allow people to push you down. It will allow members to post UNDER your topic post and you can edit it anytime with your items... It will be YOUR thread....


    Right now some of the ideas that are being discussed will be to let people sell items under 30 or 40 dollars that they make from home (not a business) for free. They will not be in a vendor area. It will be just a post that they maintain and it will fall in rank if no attention is given to it.



    Things that classify you as a vendor would be selling anything from a linked website.. And repetitiously selling items over 40 dollars. That will always be treated as a a vendor.


    Banner ads will also be sold . However I want to keep that to a minimum. I want the forum clean a neat fro everyone to enjoy. Ads annoy me and I am sure they do the members as well. The banners that I sell will be priced in line with other sites and that information will be made available when all of the vendor issues have been firmly hammered out... I am hoping it will be by the end of this week. It could possibly be sometime next week though.


    Those are the rough plans for now. I hope it all makes sense .. I just wanted to let everyone know so it wasn't a surprise when it all comes together.. And when it does come together I will let you know what the cost will be and you will have a few days to get your items moved to that section and setup your thread. After that I will delete the original threads and clean up the forum.....

  • Getting my pictures downloaded from my google photo account.

    I know lots of people come to see all the how-to info that gets posted.... All my photos get sent to Google Photo so I have every full resolution picture I have made since 2008. I am going back to the end of 2014 and downloading all of them. I should have some of my threads duplicated over here the in next week or so....


    I have been working on some of the request mentioned by members such as a "winner" or "agree" button. I am still working with these and a few other items....

It proves one thing to me..... I eat, sleep and breath Slingshot's, the forum, and passing information along to others.... There isn't a better way to show it than by me posting these pictures..


    This will be the last I ever speak of the subject. Its over and done and I can honestly say that I have done what it takes to keep my friends happy and together.

  • Just had a funny thought.

    One of the very small things that kinda poked me into creating the site was when my thread about the LED lights was re-titled with the addition of A.D.D.(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).


    For some reason I just had a realization of how true this turned out to be. And how bad it turned out for the person who messed with my friends and I.


    If "whomever" edited my title had any idea of how much information runs thru my head every few seconds they wouldn't have even thought about opening my thread. Much less editing it.


    Point of this was... Do you really want to upset the guy with A.D.H.D.? :D:D:D We really have some energy to get some stuff accomplished!!

  • Just wanted to say thanks to all....

    First, let me say I appreciate all the donations. I will use them to pay the hosting and some of the other expenses. I went with a forum backbone that actually cost a bit of money to use. It isn't very pricey but each module I add like the Calendar, Blog, Galley, Marketplace, and other tiny features had a small cost associated with them.


    I dont expect a penny for this. I did it because, I hated that my friends were having issues with the other site and wanting something different. They wanted a place to talk freely, share pictures, events, how-to articles, and ideas.


    I almost did this back around Christmas time. It seemed some members that had their hand spanked, were happy to let it all blow over. I couldn't just sit back and wait on this latest issue to "fix itself". I gave it some time to be resolved. I asked over and over for a response and a resolution..... What more could I have done!


    I know some of you from face to face meetings and some from the forums. I just want to say thanks to everyone who has found this site. I hope you can stick around for a long time....

    I personally like the FLATMASTER BLUE EDITION. It makes the pages a bit easier to read. It up to the member. I just thought I would remind everyone... Ill add a few more themes and some other buttons soon... Its been a bit busy getting everything up to speed....

    Then pick from the three choices...
