How to perfectly aim your headlights for maximum down-the-road lighting

  • Lots of useful tips -

Using the average height of the side mirrors on a passenger car to find out how high to aim your headlights provides useful way to get maximum headlight beam height w/o ending up with your headlights aimed too high! While it's possible to end up with low-mounted headlights being aimed a little too high, as long as you're not getting flashed a lot by oncoming drivers, this method should provide a higher aim-point than the actual height of the Slingshot's headlights and produce more light down the road than headlights aimed at a lower point.

Changed the title of the thread from “FromThe Retrofit Source - How to perfectly aim your headlights” to “How to perfectly aim your headlights for maximum down-the-road lighting”.
  • I changed the original Thread Title because I added a couple more How-To videos from a different source.
