....make sure everything is sealed from water ......and marine grade equipment or at least if your mounting your amp under the passenger seat , use spacers to raise it up off the floor , so water won't sit on the amp.... -

Wife and I spend several weeks in Port Charolotte, FL in Jan every year.... Always trailer the Slingshot to Florida from Northern Indiana...only time it's on a trailer. -

You could also build yourself a pair of ramps out of wood. I am still using a set that I built over 30 years ago for the Corvette's.
