Hey all. Call this guy. He knows about slingshots and is an insurance broker for a few companies and he can get you a great deal

Is this the clamp you got, doesn't seem to look like the one in the picture
-
@1poser can you show me what clamps you used to attach to your roll bar.....looking at getting a 624 within the next couple weeks....
-

Mine just came in the mail today, now to contact DDMWorks tomorrow and see if they can install it for me..... after SSITS2016 they wanted to get hold of my SS and clean up my wire mess anyway....
-
Ordered mine last night.... can't wait to set it up...

I was just discussing this exact setup with my wife this evening! Would you be willing to share what you did and how you did it?
Got the lights off Ebay
12V DC 6 x 5 LED pod - RED LIGHT LED - STEP NEON DOOM LED LIGHT 6R5B
( 350816119922 )Put one in each pod with velcro and ran all the wires to my fuss block.... they are on all the time and can't be seen till night

@chad warren the dislike isn't for your post, it's what Polaris is doing to an awesome ride

I was thinking about the lower part of the flap with the fake tunnels being colored may look sharp and add some pop to that section but haven't figured out yet if it is possible or what would be required
I put red LED lights in mine that can be seen at night, give a nice glow going down the road

Has anyone besides me seen the new mud flaps of the new Slingshots coming out, what are your thoughts on it? Me, personally I prefer the original style that I have. The new ones look "cheap" and I don't like the way you see the screws holding it on.
-
Bubble head could you post pic of your pedals. I'm thinking of doing it now that you mentioned it but would want to use either self tapping screws or bolts. Would like to see it first. Thanks.
I'll take some pics in the morning for you.... I am 5'9" with a 30" inseam, same boat as you.....
@FunCycle it's not just about pushing the pedals down, quick and easy is one thing, but when you have to do it at a light or in traffic, using your toes to hold the clutch and brake down gets tiring....
-
Checked the search engine for this and couldn't find anything, so apologize if this was brought up and I missed the postings.
Hubby, let me drive the slingshot last night and even with the seat pulled all the way up, I had to stretch my legs to engage the clutch. Not bad while driving, but when stopped, I couldn't hold the clutch down for the duration of the light. Had to put in neutral to rest and then engage when taking off.
Has anyone who is short run into this issue and if so, what was your solution. I am short just about an inch or so - I am 5' tall. John is concerned about me driving that way, which would mainly be local, since he does most of the driving. Thanks! DonnaMight sound dumb, but I had a similar problem when I put my PRP Seats with 4" Foam cushions in. It raised me up 2" and back 2" so I could not press the clutch and brake completely in and hold it..... problem solved.... 2... 3" pieces of 2X4 taped to the pedals using Gorilla Tape.... (be sure to wrap length wise also, otherwise it will eventually slip off) .... been on now for 4 months and no problems. Use black tape and you don't even see it.... $6 - 7 dollars vice $100 - $250 for extensions.

@TCB what is the yellow ring around your tire and where did you find it?
-
Where is the turn signal relay located, I'm having the same problem
-
When and where was this done?
-
I like it as a CCW. It is somewhat slim and easy to carry on the hip.
I usually carry a Bersa 380cc with Critical Defense Ammo, light-weight and easy to handle....
-
Pk380
That's the same one I just bought for the wife and daughter.....

Just bought a pair of the Windtamer give them a try, cheaper than a new windshield, besides I like my stock windshield
