When transporting your Sling do you leave your emergency brake on or off ? I've got it secured really good and each tie down has a redundent back up tie down so I'm feeling good that way. I've talked to a few people and and getting both ways. I'm leaving it in neutral while transporting. Just wondering what other memebers thoughts are and why.
Thanks in advance  for your input.

I just got my gen 2 seats installed and first run tonight. I found them to be super comfortable and much better than stock. I found that I am actually sitting a bit higher in my seat, but deeper back than stock, also no big bump in back of your head. When I ordered mine and talked to PRP they said that they have upgraded there seat foam. So this maybe a differance than earlier models. We drove for couple hours tonight, with a supper break in between and both of us agree they are way better than stock.
Really like them so far :D

Getting more excited as day draws near. :00008698:
Still prepping for the big trip, new PRP seats getting installed, followed by Stinger roof, trying to get new trailer ready to haul Sling, if this dam rain would quit for a few days ! :00008862:
Ghostwheel, wife & I looking forward to going on your "mile high club ride" :P
Registered for day with Slings across America gang, and Rockies :00000441:

If anyone is interested in some stock parts,
Stock seats black with grey stripes, I used the frame for my new PRP seats.
    Stock plastic hood vent,
Stock dual winshields (not 100% sure on selling these yet)
More than likely a stock steering wheel as I hope to buy one there.
All from a 2015 SLLE, all in very good condition. I'm not sure what any of this stuff is worth but I will be open to reasonable offers
Let me know and I can haul'em down on my trip to the Rockies.

I think I've finally come up with a theme for my headlight covers, I'm just waiting to see if they approve my personalized plates for the SS.

Getta meet up with the SS Across America gang in Montrose and then see ya'all :00008674: in the Rockies event.

Now if I could just get that Canadian dollar exchange rate to cooperate :00008356:

Surgery update: surgery went well. Unfortunately, once the Doc got in there, the damage was more extensive that first thought. Still going to be 2 weeks until I'm out of these bandages, but instead of 2 months until I'm fully recovered, he said it'll be 4-6 months.
Didn't have pain until the nerve block wore off. Now though, the pain is pretty damn bad. The drugs are helping, but nowhere near enough. Going to be a long road ahead. But, we'll get through it. Thanks for all of the prayers and wishes.

Take care bro, good to hear things went ok  , sorry to hear that recoup time is gonna be longer :( .
Keep ya head up and you'll be Slinging in no time. :00008040:
PS,check downstairs and make sure ya still gotta outey, ya never know what happens in those operating rooms. :00007863:

kinda hate to say it, but if you keep giving people more and more access to getting guns easily, it's going to lead to more problems.
They just confirmed on tv, 4th officer now has passed away.

Looking forsome assistance with the upcoming Sling Shot in the Rockies/ Sling Shots acrossAmerica event.
I will betravelling from northern Alberta Canada down to Vail Colorado area for theSling shot in the Rockies event late this August. A Google map round trip has me at about 50hours and 5200 kilometres of traveling. Our total travel time is going to be 14days. I plan on taking my truck and enclosed trailer to haul my Sling there.
I would liketo meet up with Ivor and his Sling Shots across America gang and ride with themfor one day in Montrose Colorado. In order to do that I would need a safesecure place to park my truck and trailer in the Vail Colorado area for coupledays and nights. I am not at all familiar with the area and would not feelcomfortable with leaving it in an unsecured parking lot while I’m gone. Icannot leave it at host hotel parking lot as that is being reserved for vendorsand arriving Sling Shots. So waswondering if anyone familiar with the Vail Colorado area has any ideas of whereI could securely park my truck and trailer while I met up the Sling gang?
I would bearriving in Vail Colorado on Tuesday August 30th evening, this daywill be a 10 hour drive for us. Wife and I will either get a room in the area or sleep onthe trailer floor with our Sling that night. Next day unload Sling and travelfrom Vail to Montrose to meet Ivor and his travelling crew, spend night inMontrose and travel with them back to Vail on Thursday Sept. 1st.
If anyone has any suggestions or connections Iwould be happy to hear from you.
    Thanks, Rex (SLLE Canada)

What about some nice electronic marine grade, lighted engine gauges for oil press, water temp and battery volts ?
Something that can either be mounted by drivers side by e-brake or even better custom bracket on either side of existing speedo, tach.
As well a removable, (and reliable ;) ) luggage sytem that doesn't utilize the roll bars. My Stinger is in the mail and I will no longer be able to use those to tie onto.
Last but not least a magic tunnel so I don't have to keep paying high exchange rates, GST, and shipping costs on mods sent to Canada. :00000022:
