@ethermion and I dropped off posters and flyers with the dealer in Gloucester, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and the restaurant in Newport News, we couldn't find the Virginia Beach dealer.

On the way back, stopped @Cameron Roberts and his lovely wife Cherall (spelling, sorry) and went out to dinner with them. Had a fantastic time.

Ethermion is staying overnight there, as Cameron's place is about 1.5 hours from my place and Ethermion's place is another 40 odd miles farther then that and since it was like 10:30pm or so, it was a good offer for him.

All told, for me, it was a 370 mile round trip - add another 80 to that when Ethermion gets home tomorrow.

But it was a great ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We would like to pay tribute to @lostinparadise AKA JimM during the upcoming SSITS event. @Stickerdick has been kind enough to design and print the following Tribute Decal. I will be distributing them to anyone who wants one at SSITS. There is no cost for the decal all we ask is that everyone display it in the same place and keep it on for the entire event.

Below is a copy of the decal. it is designed to fit the flat area directly below the backup camera. As you can see by the second photo it is printed on reflective material for visibility at night.

Anyone not attending SSITS can PM me and I will mail one to you if you like.

I understand your pain as with all of us he will be missed. But I honestly believe he will be there with us and I for one want him to know how much we will miss him. He left us with so many happy memories this is our way to give one back to him.

OK so I have been crazy jealous every time I see a picture of Rabtech sling up on his lift. Since he is the king of great deals and I can never get any deals I started hunting for a lift. I had seen a post on the dark side about the QuickJack 3500 which was reasonably prices and there were a few people who said they were using them. I was talking to Rabtech about them and he mentioned to check and make sure it would reach from the front to the rear and hit both jack points. Sure enough as always he was 100% correct as the 3500 is too short but the QuickJack 5000 looks like it would be perfect. Unfortunately it is $500 more. I am looking at this style because it is completely portable and I can carry it in my trailer and not have it permanently positioned in one spot in my shop.

I am planning a tribute to Jim for the smokies. Stickerdick is working on a tribute decal and we will be handing them out free of charge to anyone who is willing to pay tribute by displaying on their SS.
Our only request is that everyone display it in the same location and leave it on thru the entire SSITS event.
I will be posting a picture of the decal and the location we would like it displayed later today.
