The Flying Pig name has a rather long and comical story to it.

@MACAWS I don't think I'm gonna make it to the "Booze & Blues" event this year. Its the weekend just before our big Petit Le Mans the week. Its earlier this year than in the past.

Display MoreIt started like most nights start, shower, eat dinner and check the forum. While on the forum a happy silliness came over me. Most of the not yet formed "The Wolf Pack" were happy and silly that night also. There were jokes and one liners gallore. A Pimp's shift knob was one of many topics.
A young man named Chris PM'd the still ununified Pack to thank us for lifting his spirits during a moment of sadness. We all PM'd daily to shoot the breeze, crack jokes and talk about life. Chris stopped participating as much but the rest of us continued to keep up the conversation. We became close during those conversations and SSITS 1 solidified The Pack. Seeing each other for Birthdays and a Wedding(I'm sorry I had another wedding that day), track days, along with PLENTY of texts has kept us tight.
We have taken on some special additions as time has gone by. But as far as I can recall, we owe thanks to Chris.
As for the name, I think it's because my screen name sounded better as a group. "Rock Solid Group", "Tango's in the Open", "The Pig Pens" and "Cam's Crusaders" just didn't sound as cool as "The Wolf Pack". If I'm wrong about any of it I'm sure @TheRock @pigmanfu@Cameron Roberts@Tango or @lrobbi will set the story straight.
I have had the pleasure of hanging with your pack on several occasions, Track Day - Wrench Day and SSITS. Both my wife and I enjoyed every moment. You are a special group of people with a very special bond.

This way once you are healed up you can just ride like the wind

We went to Eureka Springs on a trip for our honeymoon on the goldwing and it rained us out, didn't get to do a lot of riding but did plenty of town sights and sounds... The blues and booze events falls in line with us wanting to travel to front royal Virginia via blue ridge parkway... So not tying anything down just yet, but both are equally inviting...

Very impressive Flybuddy, my sister was figure skater and I know how much dedication and work it takes to reach that level, from both the child and the parents who support and encourage them. Not to mention the expense of lessons, Ice time and equipment.
Funny thing is my sister went from skating with the Ice Capades to racing pro mod dragsters. so you just never know!
Display MoreJust received my daughter's report card for the end of grade 11. I can honestly say I never made good grades like her. She always keeps her head in a book even in the summer. She makes me proud of her every day.
On the funny side of things... we used to hate people like her. They would screw up the grading curve for all of us that didn't make good grades.

That is awesome - I could never bring my report card home without first correcting all the mistakes my teaches made on my grades.
I think she deserves something special - new car maybe?

Just have to tell you I absolutely love my hood pins and have learned how to close the hood without slamming it. A few more tweaks on the top latches and all will be good.

I am a firm believer in positive attitude, you have a challenge to overcome and as long as you look it in the eye and say Boo you win. I have watched you with many of your projects and when you set your mind to something you get it done - you will get this done as well. Faith, determination and prayer are pretty powerful partners.
