It's definitely different from @philip_mustangs... Wondering what the extra piece his has is and why...

@philip_mustang, sure that's just the belt guard? Or the Euro guards different from the states?
Please post a close up pic of the entire assembly if you can...
I see the belt wheel has a yellow ring around it...?
Here you go @MiM
Could be that the euro belt guards are slightly different than the US ones.
Same goes for the nose cone. I was going to put center lights in mine but the space is too narrow. Found out there is a difference between US and Euro (Canadian).
I also installed the axle lock. Bought that last year and I was suprised that it fitted since the recall changed the nut.
Just put it over the first one and tightened it up. Seems solid but off course I haven't driven it yet.
Sorry , cant blame Polaris on this one, check the torgue ratings on all 6 or 8 mm standard bolts, they don't withstand the loading of a decent size ratchet or wrench , Typical loading for such a size bolt is no more than what can be applied with a single wrist twist and a quarter inch drive ratchet
I didn't even used a ratchet. I took a picture of what I used to get it in and out. That shouldn't break using this.
And believe me, I am nowhere near of looking like the Hulk
And yesterday I broke of 2 darn bolts
Doubting about the quality of them because they simply broke manually.
They went in smooth till halfway and then got stuck. When I applied a little morre power ... crack
Some pics to prove the installs
Tnx to @Slingshot Garage for the warning emblem!
Looks great!
What's on the swingarm belt sprocket? Is the outer ring/surface just painted yellow or it a cover/lip ring around it? Looks like an add on... Love the style!
It's just the OEM belt cover that they painted completly.
Today I added the Tricled rollbar leds, RGB windrestrictor, brake light flash module and some decals
Tnx guys
The first mods were done by the dealer. Had then paint the beltguard, grill and valvecovers in body color.
They also installed the PRP Seat covers.
Today I didn't do as much as I wanted but here's what I did.
Coil covers
CAI
1320 Headers and Alpha Variable Exhaust
SS-only padded armrest and gen2 floormats
Jumper ports
FZ1 Fuze box
Tomorrow the modding wil continue
Pictures will follow later.
After purchasing the SS in Januari, having it completly repainted and waiting for it to be delivered after the recall was done due to the "stop sell" the BIG DAY arrived!
But to match the other stuff in the garage it had to change color.
Had to match to this
and
So yesterday I borrowed a trailer to go and get it
At the dealer we loaded it on the trailer. It was close but worked out fine
Already had shipped some custom PRP covers to the shop to match the paint.
Then it was parked in the garage
And united with the other toy
Now I'll have to wait till all the paperwork is done so I can get it registred and receive my plates.
So I can't drive it but that gives me time to install the first mods
Do you really need some sensors with that camera? Isn't the sight good enough?
I counting down till mine arrives hopefully next week!!
looks like we are going to have a simular setup
I also have that exhaust, headers and CAI on its way. Together with some more stuff
No it probably wouldn't I can find out how much if you like.
@philip_mustang
If that isn't to much trouble
Wouldn't that be possible to just put it in an envelop with a stamp on it???
I don't think the price covers international shipping to Belgium?
The usa radio's are always a problem in europe.
It was the same with my oem radio in my mustang and i've heard a lot of complaint about the same issue from guys at meeting with other american cars.
I heard it has something to do with the us model searching in another way than the euro ones.
Even our 2014 Ram has that issue. RDS doesn't function as it should either.
So I was expecting this for my SS and it looks like you just confirmed it
My stock ones have been off for a while, went with the aftermarket ones..
Do you have any idea how long those nuts were? Here I can only find 60mm long ones without the 30mm spikes that goes on, so in total thats a 90mm length.
Won't that be too long?
I've bought it in december so they knew everything about the recalls and yes there is a signed "order".
But now they sent me the "stop sale" note and say they are still waiting on the replacement parts and can not deliver it before all the recalls are applied.
Hope there are coming some parts to Europe soon
@MiM & @jaycanter
I think both systems could do fine but I am looking for a solution without phone control (if possible)
By simply putting a "relais" between the "+" of both controllers makes it easy to switch between them.
If the power for the wireless controler is 'on' the normal won't get any, if I press the brakes or not.
Don't know if it is possible to put a relais between the rgbs cables.
Hi,
I am think about installing the RGB windrestrictor and hooking it up to the rest of RGB lights so that it all works together with one wireless controler that can be turned on/off with a simple switch.
So that is the easy part.
I would also like that the windrestrictor lights up Red when I hit my brakes. The thought was to simply add a controller to the WR that is set to red. So each time when I hit the brakes, the controller gets powered and the WR goes red.
And this makes it a lot more difficult I think.
When I would use a splitter to go from the WR to both controllers, isn't everything going to turn red when the brakes are on?
The WR only has 1 cable coming out so both controllers have to be connected to that 1 wire.
Anybody who has a solution or another way to do this?
Thanks guys for the help and the pics from @slingmods
Just saw you added them to your site, that's great because there wasn't any picture on the internet (at least that I found) with them not working.
Great service guys
I just got those from Tricled.
They indeed look great and now we know how they look off. Its great to see that they don't attract the attention when looking at the hood.
Looks like nobody has those installed
