Leonard will not provide a temp tag. Probably best if you can get the Certificate of Origin and head to DMV before picking up from Leonard. You do not need insurance if you will be pulling trailer with any vehicle that you own. Trailers with brakes are required to have a Virginia State Inspection Sticker, and I am not sure if Leonard does that. But if they do not, I can get that handled for you and anyone else if this is a group buy.

I have purchased 2 enclosed trailers and a storage building from them. They do not do any of the DMV work for tag and title, and they do not issue temp tags.
Not bad guys to deal with, they really seem like they are in a rush all the time. There is one guy who works there that I really like, but I do not know his name.

I really cannot do a comparison, but I just purchased my 2017 SLR about 6 weeks ago and the seats are great. I did a test ride in a 2016 base and the seats were terrible. This is my first SS but I think these seats are great.

I apologize. I posted the wrong dates for Maggie Valley. Thank you @adventure4me and @mniron for pointing this out to me. Looks like the correct dates are May 30, 2017 thru June 4, 2017.

I am planning the trip to Maggie Valley June 8,9,& 10 next year. I know this is a little early, but with my job I have to plan early. Planning on going down June 7th. Just wanted to know what hotel everyone stayed at this year. Has anyone ever rented one of the lake cabins?

Not able to get off from work on Friday, so planning on trailering down Friday evening if I can find a trailer. Headed to New Orleans for a week at Thanksgiving to visit my Daughter and Grandkids, so taking off that Friday not looking good. Ordering a trailer today so I do not have to worry about it anymore in the future.
Joan will not ride in the SS if temp is below 60, so I could just ride the SS down solo on Friday evening. But not giving up hope renting a trailer.
@KayTwo. I will let you know if I find a trailer for rent on this side of the water.

Still have not found a trailer for the Murphy, N.C trip, but I am ordering a SLING THING trailer tomorrow. Will not be ready for 7 weeks, and will have to make a trip to Florida to pick it up when finished. Spoke to the owner of Sling Trailers today. Really great guy. Emailed me the choices of trailers both open and closed, and a list of options. They customer build every trailer for the purchaser. One good thing is that I will have the trailer for the Maggie Valley trip June 8,9,& 10 next year, and any other trips in between.

I cannot take Friday off, but I am trying to get a trailer and I will leave work early and drive ( trailer ) down. But I will be ready on Saturday morning. Not giving up on getting off on Friday. Do not think I could talk Joan into a 9 hour SS ride in November at night. I will bring a big cooler of cold ones.

Not sure I can make it Thursday evening. I will check my schedule at work in the morning. I can be there Friday evening for the Saturday ride, but would really like to spend some time meeting everyone, and drinking a few cold ones. Looks like 7-8 hours for me from Virginia Beach.

I read an article today that said people in high rise buildings are in more danger from flying debris than a 1 story dwelling. The article said that if you are on the 10th floor of a high rise that the winds are 1 category higher than normal. With this storm being a CAT4 and staying in a high rise 10 floors or higher would now make the winds a CAT5. I stayed in Charleston, South Carolina and rode out Hurricane Hugo. I learned a lesson that night. I Live in Virginia Beach, Virginia now and we really do not get that many Hurricanes, but if it is a CAT 3 or higher I am out of here. I have been there and done that and never again. If you still have time, get out of town.

We will be thinking about and praying for all of our Florida east coast brothers. Funinthesun, my brother lives in Ormond Beach and he boarded up his house and went to stay with family in Tampa. Looks like a CAT 4 storm in Daytona. Wishing you the best, and keep posting messages so we all know you are ok. CAT 4 is a bad ass storm and I think it is due to hit later tonight, or tomorrow. Still time to get out of town.
