DON'T really care, just want some.....thing to reference custom tune, and their acceptance of responsibility to replace! Have been thinking this for a while, just glad someone with the capabilities has stood up to offer their service to produce it.

I'm with everyone else, short and to the point, I've grown accustomed to that.
    IF space allowed "Financially Responsible"??
Also, being we are talking (2) badges, maybe the one under dash to reference seeing ECM, where there is a bit more real estate for more detail, referring to a post I read the other night on this subject, can't remember exact wording though I could go find it.
    Under dash...
Contains "CUSTOM TUNE", if you flash you're
    "FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE"........ See ECM!

Just an update. I'm thinking we are finally on track with my project.
Will see come Friday. If things work out as promised there should be some very interesting developments coming to life in the next few weeks!
There is most probably going to be some build posts coming soon, of which will be exciting to many slingshot enthusiasts.
Bill Hahn (Hahn Racecraft) has some interesting things up his sleeve....

How long is too long to wait for equipment/products ordered to be delivered, past advertised lead time?
How long is too long to wait for communication to be acknowledged, via phone, text and email?
Have had some contact, though VERY minimal in the past 60 days, though my turbo order was last July 24,2016, to the tune of $6,827.50, which to date still do not have complete setup in hand!
In September, decided to buy motor and a few accessories @ $6,050.00
In November decided to go ahead a do another add on, to do everything at once and have a complete project @ another $2,770.00.
So at about $15-16,000.00 paid in full, have had nothing but empty promises of communication and failed shipping dates, now can't even get a reply to emails, can't seem to get a phone call answered and last I tried voice mail was full so couldn't even leave voice mail.
Bill Hahn and Hahn Racecraft, I do still respect you and have full faith in your knowledge of these motors, though not so much in your promises of communication and ability to supply promised products.
Hopefully I will receive some sort of response before I decide to give up and to return to my original thoughts of ordering else where, and then began the quest of trying to re coop dollars already spent.

Just got a message from Craig and it appears he is going to help raise some St.Jude funds and throw together some flats. As Kenny noted above I have a full plate and can only tackle a few goals at a time right now but he is another good egg that can hook you up so ask your questions and share the information. Just try and remember to take care of the kids at St.Judes. Anything you donate goes directly to them at the link at the lower left of my posts @

Hopefully I have one more special cool thing to share but those details are yet to be worked out if at all :00000156:

This thread got so derailed, not sure if we can get it back on the tracks again. The above picture was when I was placing the hood vents, they are actually mounted a little forward when finished.

I'm wanting to get in line for a set myself, look forward to donating to St Jude!
Mniron, what vents did you use in the hood?

Sorry Bill, this isn't good news, but thankful it isn't worse than it is. Hope everyone is able to get back on their feet soon. I know it has to be devistating to all affected. I will patiently be waiting for remainder of turbo parts and motor info. Summer is about over, will make a good project for me to complete over the winter months. You raised my level of excitement in our conversation yesterday about getting you to build my motor.

Yeah, wouldn't even consider methanol, was just running my flapper in response to the jet fuel comment. I plan to run minimum 93 unleaded without ethanol. I have found a distributor who has about every fuel imaginable. Just a 5hr round trip to the city to get it.

funinthesun as close as they have to jet fuel is the 118 or Methanol!!
MACAWS I've got Toyo 888's on the way in a 325 for the rear, didn't actually need anything to make my ass look bigger, though thought it was a must! Will see how they work out before I start keeping another spare laying around warming the bench, itching to get in the game. Was in hopes 93 pump gas would be sufficient as it goes from $3.95 per gallon for unleaded 93 non eathanol to $7.95 for 101 octane! Didn't realize Methanol was so inexpensive $2.95 a gallon...

Mr. gpcustoms you sound like a solid trooper, wish you well! I'd like to get in line for the break cover when and if possible. I'm new here and still rather clumsy, but I'm trying real hard to get things right. Just let me know what I need to do, I'm in!

Hey rabtech, what kind of fuel does your setup like to drink? I have started receiving my turbo parts from Bill, still more to come. Have the DDM Works 2.4 on order. I have found a distributor that has some fuel choices from leaded or unleaded 93 to 118 octane. Just thinking ahead!!
