Welcome and don't be afraid to ask twice, some of us are hard of hearing lol I too was a new member just one short year ago but didn't start posting for months . if you have a picture on your pictures file on your P.C. or your desktop or ,my documents , you just click the attachments button below and an upload button will appear, click that and windows will take you to your files and you just select your picture from whichever file you have it and it will immediately start loading, an indicator bar will go all blue within ten seconds, if its loadable, then you just click on thumbnail size or full image , thumbnail will post it at about a three inch square size whereas a full image will take up full width of window . make sure your cursor is at bottom of whatever text you write because the pic will load where you last left the cursor. remember , don't be afraid to ask for help , somebody will chime in , if its a guy name @ tripod, run for cover ! no honestly he used to post my pics for me before I even knew what I was posting , I think he,s some sort of a forum God or something .lmao

Oh and @Bigdog I just remembered in your comparison post the other day you noted having to buy mag lights as a requirement on wheel lift or dolly kits , you do realize don't you in this sale purchase price I do include not only shipping but wireless mag lites ? (what was I thinking ! ) you can see where I place mine below headlights, magnetized to vertical frame member, the wireless transmitter just plugs into your trailer four way plug then magnetizes to tailgate on truck

No, Thank you @ bigdog for your purchase, guess that just goes to show eh, money talks bullshit walks ! lol

not sure what year yours is @Texas T but I doubt it changes from year to year here,s 65557 cam phasor from 2015 manual and if you want a digital copy of 2015 manual I can email it to you , But from experience on other high end vehicles, ecus and codes can be gimmicky during periods of low battery voltage ?

Looks about right @ Bigdog, please do not hesitate to contact me further with any questions or concerns you may have . and don't forget , the sale price has been extended till the last day of the month to take in Eureka Springs gathering.

Just joking, I have one in the works for right after E.S. already mocked up, but first version not what your thinking , its my new nascar windshield base extended in a third dash pod over radio stack with a new 4 x 7 inch dash board over radio for gauges or built in gps in new third dash pod shaped to match other two , the mockup looks pretty cool.

It would be a smoother movement

but to get 17 inches stroke id have to stack two in a two stage, ( and two working heights) there goes the cost again , you,ll have to source me out a chineese maufacturer in your spare time over there lol

I looked at one today at Brewers
Honestly for the money I think I like the gull wing top much better
The Polaris top is all plastic. it used magnets to close.
Based on how the hood flutters I would bet that thing will flex and crack at some point.

It has a great shape the line flow perfectly with the SS

Tell yah what Mitch, I really like its lines too and think with a couple little mods here and there it could be made ridged as hell and supersharp, so heres what you do, get one of your buddies to buy one with you, lend it to me for a month to pull a mold off it , then I send it and one new Fibreglass one back to you, and You,ve each got the newest and best tops on the market for half price! You can arm wrestle over who gets which one lol. ( pick a female buddy )

I originally went with a typical frame no centre piece, then I waned to be able to pick up crossways too but the two frames flexed too much when picking up the rear end with such a long spread and close frame members back there, point loaded the middle too much, and so I thought yah add a middle one, and now the max stroke from mid point is only 17 inches so a bottle jack may be an option

    Love the concept
Could you maybe use a small bottle jack to do the lifting?
Did you ever get my message about tube diameter?

Yah thought about that bottle jack too and sorry I did get your dimensions, thought I responded back , oops

Ok Pics, cause it happened , but it aint gonna happen !
Well I was in a welding mood and whipped up a Sling Specific quickjack type I like to call a SLINGJACK but not wanting to get my pee pee whacked to hard for patent infringement, I tried to revert to a typical jack screw scissor lift for the Slingshots . Well here it is , but it aint gonna happen , while it works, the added leverage of the trapezoidal frames proved to be a little bit much for even a one inch acme thread, the strongest lifting thread available. It does lift the front or the rear or one side of the slingshot but it was intended for a safety margin to actually have the ability to lift the entire Slingshot with one frame only centered under the centre of gravity . While the frames are structurally sound enough as I added a centre lifting frame , the 200 ft lb torgue gun used to power the lift, stalls out Just,as all weight is clearing the floor. Can some modifications be made, like using a thrust bearing to reduce friction loads on the lifting rod, sure but the North American labour rate and the expensive acme threaded rod and nuts have already , (by the time I produce two frames) met or exceeded the retail price of the offshore made Quickjack with hydraulic capabilities . So I don't see a market for this power tool operated one at this time as those excessive hours add up when not Chineese flavoured.

Oh and also, for piece of mind, as @Ruptured Duck suggested Our tow dollies can always be upgraded to include a surge brake system, our trailer parts supplier prefers to use , as do I, rotors and calipers verses the hydraulically operated drum brake shown on the Demco unit above.
