So, made a little video of the rattle in the right front tie rod coming out of the steering rack. Includes the inner boot peeled back.
Didn't see anything that makes this a park and wait. Mostly annoying, but will contact my dealer to see what they will do.
...and pics, cause it did happen.

If you're anywhere close to me, I'll gladly give up mone for you and they can order me another one
Thanks for the offer@'funinthesun'. Gonna get some confirmation on my woes. Hang on to that rack, Polaris may not ever issue another one. Headed to the garage to peek see. May be some blood letting here or at least venting soon.
-
Well, you're not very much @funinthesun. Weather gonna be iffy next few weeks. Dealer an hour away interstate. SSITS countdown. Gonna peel the boot back tonight and make calls tomorrow. Not the best plan... but, a plan.
Thanks for the word.

Developed a rattle in the right front. Jacked it up and started banging around. Steering tie rod is rattling under the rubber boot up next to the frame where I assume it ties into the steering rack. So, what's under the boot? Boot is zip tied on the large end and quik re-usable clip at small end. No real problem to get into but is there anything in there to adjust, tighten.
Feeling lazy....
Oh, and thanks.

Hope they get your ride straightened out. Sounds like they are going a lot further than a lot of other dealers. One thing I am trying to figure out... "smell funky"... wire sniffers or "looks suspicious"? Hmmmmm..

Yep, I like my own idea. Access to an online manual... for say, "site supporters" for an annual fee. Huh? Huh? Huh?
Legality issues???
-
Where can I get one? Probably one of the best mods we could own. Dropped enough on other mods. Keep getting 2015 related manuals which would be better than my knowledge, but I don't own the 2015. Or, is there an online source for a few dollars a year for use? Yep, probably just made someone wealthier.... D@mmit!

Oooooohhhhhh, pretty!!! Dang it! Yep, I am good with my relocated tag and fender.
-
Hope it doesn't turn into a bar-b-que... just kiddin'! Everybody heard there were gonna be marshmallows.

Don't smoke, although some of those vapors Smell good ( been around guys who use them) I have a BLU E-Cig my buddy gave me. Works for Newport, maybe starting today I'll start puffing...I need a bad habit!
@BONES Try saving some money by not spending it on mods...
Now there's a bad habit!

Damage caused from running in the Slingshot. Jammin it between
e-brake handle and black plastic during shifts.... -
I was serious about quitting the smoking thing... Short termed the Chantix. It helped somewhat that insurance would not cover this cessation drug. Expensive if you got to pull from your pocket. Had a couple vivid dreams but nothing nightmarish. Know a few others that could not handle the Chantix. If vaping keeps her from bringing a cigarette back into this house then I guess I can do that. Took several breaks from cigarettes in the past. Will consider myself quit this time if I never take another puff before they throw dirt in my face. And that is my goal. I no longer have any desire for a cigarette but they probably got me a long time ago.
Public service announcement: If you don't smoke or vape... don't choose to start.

Good work @rabtech.
The trip over was not uneventful. Confirmation codes being a "B"... Found 'em in the trash.
Got in on tablet then went to computer and get that confirmation code again for new device and no dice again.
Turned the "Confirmation Code" off in settings using tablet (probably a good security thing to have on) but now able to log on with home 'puter.
Wife assemblage still unable to get on with any device. Get a code, code no workee-workee. Wow is she bummed! Will wipe her cookies and try again.Looks like a lot of familiar folks got here and more coming...
Me feels that one rabtech project has gone back burner while this one goes full banzai tilt...
Great job Rab. Now I need to get busy. Oh A v a t a r . . .
