I have taken my Canadian registered sling for service and recalls in the US and they had no issues looking up the VIN and doing the work so I cant see why they cant do the opposite

Why not just stay in Canada with Sparcky? I doubt many of us will miss you and I for one am so sorry you are inconvenienced with your air BNB while others are trying to survive. Enjoy your time in Mexico, careful with the water and don’t take any fentanyl from strangers.
Rws904 thankfully the majority of US USA citizens dont think the same as you. Having my airbnb cancelled wasnt a inconvenience but a disappointment that I would not be able to visit friends and spend my money at the local establishments that rely in the tourist travel. I really feel bad that the people of Florida have experienced this act of devastation and hope they can get thru this. Hopefully your wise ass comment about the fentanyl was not a personable comment as that was truly in bad taste. The whole country is affected by the fentanyl addictions that I am sure many would not find that comment appropriate. Have a great day.

Due to Fucking Ian our vacation plans have changed. Our Airbnb got flooded out so they cancelled it and we dont want to be somewhere that others are just trying to survive due to loosing their homes. So Cancun here we come. Got the time booked off already so lets go😎

The local news outlets here have been saying that with the massive rainfall and 100 mph winds, expect to edven see changes to the landscape. I sure hope when this storm is over, the landscape doesn't look like this
Hey I come to visit for the warm climate dont be friggen moving Florida where its cold. Tell Ian to fuck right off and settle down. Hopefully things get back to somewhat normal quickly as we are leaving in a week to head that way.

What are heated seat pads and what are they used for? I think ours are factory installed on all the cars before they get registered down here in Florida. So glad summer is now over. Temps are going to drop to the high 80's over the next few weeks
Is that a promise for the high 80’s 😎😊 cant wait to hit the roads down that way for a week. The forecast here for next 2 weeks shows high 60’s daytime and into the 40’s at night. See ya soon Funinthesun hope you have your new avatar all ready to go 😏😜

Is she from Canada, might be Canadian $$$. US$ "R" is base $33K-$35K
we also cant buy the base model anymore as the government requires new vehicles including auto-cycles to have back up cameras and the base model does not have a stereo with camera

I had to wear a long sleeve shirt a couple of times during the winter down here. Riding at any speed over 70 mph and temps below 70 is tough with a short sleeve t-shirt and shorts.
The first winter I had my Slingshot, I was on the interstate early morning and didn't expect the temps to be that cold. The cold was bad enough, but as soon as I got over 60 mph, I had a bad vibration from the front end. I thought that I might have lost a couple of the stick-on wheel weights. Several miles into my trip (not wearing any gloves) my hands were freezing. So I took both hands off the steering wheel to try to warm them up. Funny thing was that as soon as I did that, the front end vibration when away. It returned as soon as I grabbed the wheel back. I guess I was so cold that I was shivering enough to move the wheel and create the vibration on my own. I decided to always carry a jacket with me for times like that. (Good thing was that the Vanderhall has a heater, so that never was an issue)
Funinthesun Thanks for the morning chuckle 😂🤣 70deg and was freezing 😂🤣 thats FN hot I love them days. It was 50 this mornings ride in and no jacket gloves or heater. I guess when you live in the south you get climatized to the high temps.

Went riding with a few friends today.
Wondering how many people remember the sling I'm following?
-
Funinthesun Phil, so glad you are able to tell us about this. Regardless of the root cause we all have to remember how fast shit can happen and be aware of surroundings and drive within our limits and if conditions change then change your limits.

Trying to see if they can do any mods so it will be able to go off roading next time without damaging it. Damn lucky it didn't roll over this time, but that was one of the thoughts going through my head as it was heading towards the trees
OH SHIT 🥺🥺🥺 you know they make dedicated lawn mowers…… glad your able to tell us about it. Yikes that would have been a ride.
