Bu11sh1t has a deckover snow machine trailer for his Slings but it is not weight rated for hauling cars. I have only seen one 8.5 foot deckover car trailer but the money was too high (all of them are too high out here on the west coast). I called an outfit in Georgia yesterday that has the best pricing I've found. They gave me the number of a hauler that quoted me $1,530 to deliver a 8.5x20 trailer from Georgia to Missouri, where I'm looking at buying a car. There goes any savings. Anyone here up for a 900+ mile trip to Missouri for less than that?

$1530 for 900+ mile trip is not bad considering most haulers are getting between $2-$4 per mile towed for travel trailers

Good ole Canadian Tree Pee. The worst part is collecting it from the trees first thing in the morning if they have morning wood 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

Phil, you got this brother👍 I had neck surgery 4 yrs ago and the thought of what they were doing and the pain I would be in for a few weeks after were frightening and played on my brain. Would I do it again……… yes I am in less pain and life has returned to somewhat normal. Knowing you are a crusty old fucker you wont let this setback take you down and before long you will be out telling lies and shooting the shit with us again. All the best my friend and you will be in our thoughts.

I want to do this also just have to finish the other 100 jobs on the go🧐🥺 I actually have a spare set of seats to do it with. Good luck and post progress and pictures

I contacted Suncoast Cycle Sports this morning and they asked that Ride Now Powersports Hurst contact them and provide photos and other info as to what is wrong with the motor. The guy at Hurst was telling me that there was shrapnel in it that damaged the cylinder walls, pistons and head. I'll call tomorrow and see what they figured out and what I need to do. I think I might see a very minuscule glimmer of hope.

Fingers crossed for you Scanman hope things work out.

......it came out real nice , I just have to get pass the first cut than I'll be alright.......

just close your eyes and go for it 😂😂🤣🤣 once you make a cut your committed so start small and go easy till you get the feel for it. A vibrating saw works great.

Lrobbie did make screens at one time. I bought some stainless mesh and used very small zip ties along the edge to secure mine using small holes along the edge. I am happy with the way it turned out as you cant see the ties from the top

When I blew my original motor I played the used motor game 🤬🤬🤬 had nothing but problems that no one could figure out locally or by many conversations with people that are what I consider very knowledgeable with these motors. I finally pulled it back out and put it in the scrap pile. Bought a new motor from ZZP and installed it and never looked back. Could have should have didnt are all famous words. Your into it more than I was so it was a easy decision for me to throw it in the dumpster. You could have been driving around enjoying it with so much less stress if DDM would have installed one of their motors for you but we have all made choices that we regret. One day it will ride again

Well after a hard search, very close to getting scammed once we finally got our new edition to the family…

she is an 8 week old female Chihuahua named Roxie - the sire was 4.5 lbs and the dame 6 lbs - she is the runt of the litter - she can never replace the one I lost but can fill the void left by losing him. Happy day around my house !!

That is awesome Mr Bill. Cant wait to meet her. Never easy to loose a pet but always wonderful when a new member joins the family.
