Took a ride down to the SS take over in Philly today. There were some crazy SLingshots there and a group of T-Rex's showed up too. Here are some pics

So, are the FX-R projectors sealed for free-standing use w/o an external protective lens?
No they're not 100% water proof but I dont drive in the rain. They're not design to mounted outside of a headlight like I did. But I'm not worried too much about it and if I get two riding season out of them I'll be happy. It's not much to replace them if something happens.. For me the risk is worth the reward but not all people would feel the same way I do. I could buy a set of Slinglenz for them but I'd have to remove my lower brow lights so I'm not sure I want to do that

Nice work @Ice9812!!!It was great to have met you and spend some time hanging out at the event!!!
Sorry I didn't get the chance to take you for that rip after the turbo was installed like I said I would..........That's ok just keeping it running strong so I can get a ride at the next meet. It was nice meeting you and your brother hopefully he has his SS for next season

Thanks @Shatneyman appreciate it. Your new exhaust is looking good. I had a great time meeting everyone, it was the first time I was able to make it to an event. I hope to get to another one next year

Are you guys wiring into the factory harness? How's the load on the circuit?
I have the headlights on separate circuits and the HIDs are on its own power harness. I wouldn't run HIDs in any vehicle from the factory wiring.

I fine tuned my headlights last night. I retrofitted a set of FX-R projectors this past week. I have a set of HID 6000k D2S bulbs installed. The light output is amazing, here's a couple pics. It's hard to get a good pic but it has that hint of blue at the right angle from the cutoff line

I installed the Alpha short throw today.
I'm happy with it, it took a few shifts to get used to it but everything feels good. I never had the ddm version but I'm sure that I wouldn't notice the difference

Wow 4 weeks, sorry to hear of your troubles.
I had a pioneer 7100, SiriusXM, SSV front and side pods, JL audio amp under the driver seat, 10" sub behind driver seat, front and rear camer wired on a switch in the dash and it was done in two days for around $2700
