Well I got resolution on this, wife said I like the aftermarket exhaust and that put an end to me looking at putting it back stock. I do want to say thanks for the replies.

Look for the Sam Owens video on controlling cockpit heat....he gives you a step by step process on how to do it and also gives you a much cheaper alternative to buy....thats what I did and it works great

Has anyone installed the DEI Transmission Tunnel & Passenger Floor Pan Heat Shield Kit for the Polaris Slingshot (2020+) from slingmods and was it worth it and would you do it again? Thanks

Not much but thats all my wife remembers hearing from one of the techs that was in the shop when we looked at it and he even said you might get some if you were sitting for a bit and the conditions were right but then again she likes the aftermarket one so I might get out voted here.

I have a 2021 S that I purchased and the previous owner installed the Thermal R&D Cat-Back ceramic coated dual exhaust. It has a nice sound but personally I like a little Quiter and I am considering changing it back to stock but I have heard that exhaust fumes may be an issue. The one I rented before we purchased did not seem to be an issue but would like to hear back from some of you on your thoughts on the stock system and any of you that has this same exhaust about how you like. Thanks for any feedback.

.....I also have a aftermarket exhaust that runs out my rear and I decided to wrap the exhaust pipes running under the tunnel with exhaust heat wrap while I was installing em.....

...not sure if that's an option for you now since your exhaust is installed, unless you make it a winter project......good luck reducing the heat
I am hoping to be able to wrap mine as well, I need to get it up on stands first to get a good look at it.

Here is what I used....just watch Sam Owens video and he talks about the installation process.....worked great.
I plan on using some of that as well, to fill any gaps and to either go on first or over the SM stuff.

Why do you not just get some of that insulating bubbly wrap type insulation and cut it to size. and install under your carpet. --$$$$
I do not want to add anything into the cab area with the carpet, it will be under the floorboard, just curious if the SM stuff was worth the money.

I am going to put Tile Tag into mine which is a apple air tag that is used for android phones ..
I like the thought of that and hadn't really thought about that, still want something that sets off the horn if it is messed with. Thanks

Well now, that is different and I haven't seen that before. I'm not a top guy but I really like that one. Did you make it? There are threads here showing how some members have fabricated their own roof racks. Maybe that's an avenue you could explore if the look was acceptable to you.
It was on their when I bought it, really nice, I think it may be by Polaris, the cover has the SS insignia and say's Slingshot wrote down it.

While one of my biggest concerns would be how we could travel and be able to carry luggage without adding saddlebags or a trailer I think I have settled on a luggage rack, since mine has a roll cage it should be fairly easy to add and I think I have selected all the pieces that I will use but I would love to see if any of you have done this and if so can you post a few pics. Thanks.
