As a person who lives in North Richland Hills & works in Dallas.....
This is media's fault. Officers kill white people everyday across the US, but never once do you hear that story, officers kill Hispanics everyday across the US, but never once do you hear that story. Officers kill black people everyday across the US, and you always hear that story because it is race bait and click bait as it is a high profile topic every since the Treyvon Martin story where the white guy got off scott free. Sure some of the cops killings of blacks (& all races) have been unjustified, so in know way am I saying all news stories on the subject are unwarranted, but many of those shootings were justified, but the damage is done by the time the news if the news ever finally runs a story telling the people it was justified.
I am a fan of the Russ Martin Show and his foundation that helps fallen police & firefighters in the line of duty in Dallas & Fort Worth. 99.9% of the proceeds goes to those families has his charity only employ's 1 person (not himself he donates to his own charity often).

edit: hmm its not posting the link to the video?

I'm headed to Crystal Beach the end of July, was thinking to maybe take the SS, how is it on the beach? Near salt water? will it get destroyed/stuck in the sand?
    Thanks

My 2 cents... On other 'boards, I've often been able to find my pics and posts via Google. This was not my intent. Maybe a members-only tech section will keep the robots out.

The only thing I wonder is similar to what gearhead said except not about robots about real people.
If I am not a member here and I google "How to remove slingshot panels" and lets say Painters thread is in a members only part of the forum, would this site even show up in that google search? If so then a members only wouldn't hurt anything (except the people that hate signing up for websites), if not then that members only section may have kept some great additions whom would have signed up had this google search shown what they were looking for.
Hopefully what I said above makes sense lol.

I learned how to drive a standard when I bought the SS..... I know I know..... what I want to know is how do you do donuts in it with a standard o.O do you have to turn off traction control?
How do you do burn outs? When I try the thing just takes off on me.... I know I know us damn rookies.... but I would like to know so I am man enough to ask. I imagine there are others..or some that will join that'll wonder as well who are to manly to ask.... I know I suck driving a standard so I'll ask lol

Rediculous, end it! Not good for football! It was never a rule as to PSI in footballs. Many Qbs have come forth & said they like there balls different ways. ( yeah I just said that) Make a rule now & move on. Goodell is just flexing his muscle..

There was/is a PSI rule in the NFL

"The official rules of the National Football League require footballs to be inflated to a gauge pressure between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch (psi) or 86 to 93 kPa, when measured by the referees. The rules do not specify the temperature at which such measurement is to be made.[3] Per the pressure-temperature law, there is a positive correlation between the temperature and pressure of a gas with a fixed volume and mass. Thus, if a football were inflated to the minimum pressure of 12.5 psi at room temperature, the pressure would drop below the minimum as the gases inside cooled to the colder ambient temperature on the playing field. While footballs deflate naturally in colder temperatures, a deliberately under-inflated football may be easier to grip, throw, and catch, or inhibit fumbling, especially in cold rainy conditions.[4]
Prior to 2006, NFL custom was for the home team to provide all of the game footballs. In 2006, the rules were altered so that each team uses its own footballs while on offense. Teams rarely handle a football used by the other team except after recovering a fumble or interception. Tom Brady, quarterback of the New England Patriots, along with Peyton Manning, who was quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts in 2006, argued for the rules change for the express purpose of letting quarterbacks use footballs that suited them.[5]
Early reports suggested that the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens first suspected that the footballs the Patriots were using in the games against each team might have been deliberately underinflated to gain an illegal advantage during the 2014 NFL regular season,[6][7] although Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh denied reports concerning the Ravens.[8]"

Well I'm about to get one. I guess I should clarify, I will not be throwing it hard in the corners as much as some of you young'un are doing. ;)

Most of the owners here are well beyond young'un lol. As Orange pointed out the SS shines in cornering, the 0-60 thing is a problem for the SS because only 1 rear tire with rear wheel drive and no weight on that tire.... you'll spin the tire even in 3rd gear with it stock...can't imagine how bad that spin is with a turbo.

In The North Richland Hills area here. Bought and got robbed from Freedom Powersports in Hurst.... Do not go there about $3k in upcharge...
Cycle Town South in Lancaster is who I go to for service now and would tell you that's where you may want to go (not sure much about the Denton area)

I have #907 and it's still in original trim. I love all the mods, but a new back tire will be my first purchase. I know after my first plunge into the goodies, there will be no turning back, but for now I'm a mod virgin. Anyone else out there that can relate?

The only thing I have done to my SS is bought and put on a cell phone mount. As of now not 1 other thing is changed. I do have @Red seat brackets to move the passenger seat up a cpl of inches but haven't installed them yet. I am in the middle of buying a house so waiting until I get my house and a big ass garage to start making changes.I live in apartments right now with a very small 1 car garage (by 1 car I mean it has to be a compact car to fit lol)
