Oh you found it!! I was wondering where I parked it!! Thanks

Sam Owens had a video where he put velcro on the gas cap and the roll bar. When filling up he'd put the cap on the roll bar, so if he forgot it would still be there whenever he got to it.
I did that too, it works great!!

I bought my Sling last year and have been having a ball!!!!!!! I have found a couple of women's riding groups and have been out with them. I saw a fellow driving a red one in my home town on Sunday while I was wishing for less rain so i could get out too. I'm out west in Utah so not many riders out here

I need to know where this store is located!

Did you get an 8 mm wrench inside behind the mirror and tighten the bolts? That was the issue for me
The mirror housing wasn't my issue. It is still connected well to the exterior so I didn't try to get behind it. My hubby wasn't very happy as he made a special trip to the automotive store to get me a wrench. (Oops) Thanks for your advise though. I am keeping it for reference.

The following is NOT an extension kit (the hood will not open any further than stock), however, it allows one to easily open the hood with just one hand. This averts the occasional re-engagement of rear locks when opening the hood. It also helps to avoid putting a lot of stress on the hood skin (there are a few who have suffered splits in their hood skins just above the hood handle from the heavy yanking to open the hood). Just push down the release lever and give the hood handle a light tug. I just went out and opened my hood after sitting for awhile -- easy peasey. This kit may work with extended hinge kits -- but you need to ask the manufacturer about compatibility.
Slingshot Hood Assist Kit - Slingshot Spot
I installed this kit a year or so ago. Great quality hardware.
I ordered this the other day. I'm excited to get it. I have a hard time getting my hood open by myself. I hope this takes care of my problem.

Thanks for all your help SoCal, FunCycle and EjFord. I used the rubber tube idea and it worked great! The mirror didn't move at all. It doesn't look great but I'll go with Safety over Looks any day!!
We also adjusted the arms in so I can have a little more adjustment. YEA! Had a great ride on Saturday to try them out.

DIY bathroom remodel...
When did you come to my house to take that picture?

Working hard or hardly working? Asleep on the job again!

Thanks EjFord. I was looking at those. But I'm going to fix my arms first. I appreciate the help

Ha Ha - I love it when we ed-u-macate the "Experts"

Good point WickedReaper. I 'll mention that when we start working on it. Thanks

Thanks FunCycle. Sorry, it is a 2016+ but I think your info will work for me. The Spouse doesn't want me to break something but I figured that was what I'd have to do. I'm new to the forum so just looking for any help I can get as the only dealer is over 50 miles away.

So has anyone had to adjust the mirror's arm? I have cranked my mirror adjustment over to the left as far as it will go and is still not quite far enough. Has any one adjusted the arm itself? Is it hard to do? I don't want to break it off. I also have issues with it dropping when I go over a bump so I'll be trying SoCal's adjustment of the mirror itself.
