Thanks. I looked in both forums (I know...) and could not find any install pics etc. Really think they will make a difference, but want to be careful. The way you describe it is what I was thinking, but I need to take one more look below the SS. My hole saw has a longer pilot than I would like. Thanks again, if you do find pictures they would be appreciated....would help gauge where the stuff is from the top....

Those are Memphis positional PR tweeters. And yes..... they are well worth the effort. It bring the sound stage to the middle.
It's a pain to install because there is a layer of plastic behind the outer plastic.. and be careful the fuel line is on the driver's side behind that speaker. U will hit it with a drill if your not careful.
Rabtech, Hoping you can provide a few more details about mounting the PR tweeters in the console. I took a look at the underside, and it is somewhat tight. Hoping for insights to below. Thanks!
1) How did you drill the holes for the tweeters, a standard hole saw, a dremel, or.....?
2) Did you drill the body colored panels while on the Sling, or did you drill them, place back onto the SS, then drill second layer?
3) If you used hole saw, did you remove the pilot bit or just be very careful to drill slowly?
4) and finally, for drilling did you have to move the fuel lines, or just make sure you drilled slow and did not go through to deep once it cut the inner flood part?Very interested in doing, but notice not only the fuel lines but also the transmission etc. Obviously do not want to screw it up and since you were successful... Thanks

Body shop or similar may have an impact puller....the type with a long bar and slide weight. If you hit it with heat and popped with one of those would likely come. That said, if you can live it it.....
I noticed some rust, maybe rust ed d to splines. Has me nervous as I live on water in fl. May pull mine and put some grease on.......

This stinks, I was looking at doing next spring. Wonder what the issue is, should fit where a car goes......I do not think they strap cars down.

I'm not a small guy and I squeezed by Round body into this
Wow, really nice look. Have not seen in person, but nicer looking than miata. Would be interesting to compare.

I do not have a stock radio so can't answer your question directly. You can connect the two headsets so that thye share music though. See attached link or seach for sena smh-10 music sharing. At least gives an option.

@McClendons, hope this helps.
Bags on with rain cover
Bags off
Take wing nuts off and lower bags
Slide bags on, raise it and put wing nuts on,... DONE!
used the existing holes just longer screws
Two frames, one hooks to sling, second is what the bags sit on. Hinges tie the two together. Used some ABS plastic to cover lower frame. Heated and bent around sides. Welded some round bar to stiffen the sides. Thanks, I like that approach, although do not have allot of metal work skills am fairly mechanical. May I've similar a shot. Want the Corbins, and keep thinking they've fixed the problem by now, but hearing nothing positive
-
I love the looks of the Corbin, but with the problems, no way I'll buy one. Mine is still going strong and only cost me $10 bucks for the metal frame. I can use any saddle bags on the market. With the rain cover on, everything stays nice and dry.
Can you explain the frame you built? Good solution

Excellent post. I've been thinking about installing one of the vents that are used on Honda Goldwing shields. Would not provide tons of flow, as they are pretty small, but certainly would help some. This may give me inspiration to take the measurements and see if it would fit behind the windshield center bar.

You can lie on driver side ground and push up and wiggle front one. I've used both ways and the ground was easy. Was putting on mad stad roof anyway...

Mine is a Black Base, so at least I do to have the backup camera issue. Interesting they said White, I would think it would affect all since the drive train is the same. Thanks

lucky me, front seal leaking at 160 miles...Hope I can make though break-in. Crazy

Really like your approach Kenny_H, the Givi's look great. Do you have details of what you did? Assume you had to make custom mounts...
