I have a set of the baker luggage racks for my 2017 slingshot sl. I can’t get these things to line up for the life of me. I have tried multiple ways and they just don’t seem to fit. The driver side is a lot lower on the clasp side also. I have called baker and the guy i need to talk to is at a show and i guess is just to busy to call me back, the girl who answered the phone has tried to help me but she doesn’t know how they work. I really don’t want to wait til Tuesday to talk to him. Has anyone had this issue and know if I’m installing wrong? Thanks

Hi everyone,I’m wanting to add the zarate gap fillers on my 2017 navy blue slingshot but I’m undecided on the black or the navy blue they sell. I’m mainly concerned about the color blue matching my slingshot since it shows their blue in candy color on the website. Does anyone have a picture of what the candy blue looks like especially on a navy blue?thanks

SlingLow i don’t remember if i spoke with you about luggage racks but do you have any for sale?

SoCal dirty throttle bodies will cause a bunch of weird issues. We have equinox’s coming in with busted in half exhaust manifolds and they don’t die on decel.glad it’s fixed though

you need a wiring schematic to find the common wire shared between all these lights and start chasing it down to find out where it goes and make sure it’s not chafing or loosing contact somewhere.

ultrascott Really appreciate the heads up on this and now that you mention it it makes perfect sense whether it’s the culprit or not. I’ve always had gas mileage envy of others who were saying they’re getting mileage in the 30s while mine always stays at 27 no matter what. Perhaps cleaning the throttlebody would help in this department as well. I found this article and although I may try it I think it’s best to remove the throttlebody and clean it separately. Once again thank you!

no problem. We see dirty throttle body’s cause all sorts of issues at the GM dealership i work at. My slingshot is around 29.5mpg so far. I’d like to see those 30’s also. Let me know if this helped or not please,I’m curious. -
It could have a dirty throttle body causing those symptoms. Take it off and clean the front and back of the blades real good.

EjFord the slingshot hitch

EjFord i don’t think a rear fender would work for me because i have a trailer hitch. Looks good though

EjFord send me some pics of it and how it mounts and price

billythekidd another good point. Thanks. I was thinking about adding a windshield to it but he’s tall so it wouldn’t be covering him completely plus that would defeat the purpose of getting him in the wind. Possibly goggles also if he’d wear them. He will wear some glasses lol

EjFord my big guy loves to go for rides.he usually just lays around and sleeps most of the time but I’d love to be able to take him with me more and get him out of the house and a little more active.

wjfyfe very good point. This is the feedback I’m after. Although I’m more interested in going backroads and no interstate.

hello everyone. I would like to take my big guy zeke with us on more longer day trips. I am looking at buying a pull behind Blackhawk motorcycle trailer and cutting an opening in the top so he can sit up and enjoy the breeze. He loves riding in the passenger seat but i doubt i could convince the wife to ride in the trailerso he will have to. He’s a Great Dane and would have enough room to lay down if he gets tired and i believe he would have enough airflow to keep him cool. Anybody have any experience with this? The picture is him sitting in my other trailer

FunCycle what tube bags are you referring to? I bought a set that were new and unused. I can’t remember the name of them but they don’t make them anymore. They are almost like a plastic waterproof material.
