Thanks for the info but I have a nice custom trailer I would like to pull its been collecting dust since I traded off my spyder may just have to go with a different hitch spyder did fine with a swing arm hitch not my favorite option but I don't feel like losing another grand on top of depreciation when and if I decide to trade up.

It is a very good system, but you need to do some cutting of things that would not look good if you removed the system. Buy the system and plan on it staying with the Slingshot. We all make some changes that we know will not give us much of a return if we sell.
Guess I will have to go watch the install video this is a major purchase for me and will not buy if it has to stay with the sling.

Has anyone determined if the Wicked Hitch will work on the 2020 models? Thinking of buying one for my 2016.5 but would feel better about the big purchase if I knew it would transfer to newer model later.

Is there any modification required to use the amazon lights? OR any for that matter or is it plug and play?
On mine I just removed the boots on outside lights to allow air flow I was careful to not destroy boots just incase I should ever need them, everything else was plug and play other than the boots and zip tying the module and wires up out of way.They are completely waterproof according to manufacture.They have everything you need included including the module and adapter for outside lights.If you go that rout feel free to ask and I will help all I can.

I just ordered a set of BF Goodrich g-force comp-2 A/S the two fronts came in today but the rear tire should be here tomorrow sadly I will have to wait for my tire man to get back from vacation to get them installed can't wait to try them out they look great.O these will be stock size for my 16 sle.
Just an update on tires I have been running the BF Goodrich g-force comp-2 A/S for about a month now including a 1 hr run in heavy rain and I am really impressed better bite on dry pavement and could run around 58 to 60 mph without hydroplaning though that was pushing the limit of the SlingShot with it being so light and the wide tires.Over all for the price and handling I highly recommend these tires they may not be the top contender but for the price they are great and anything is better than the original tires.

Update to thread I got my sling back today had a nice chilly ride back from Amarillo Tx it was 34 when I left there this morning and 49 in Vernon when I made it back was still great to drive the Sling again and it looks new again.

Glad you are getting you SS fixed but maybe I’m missing something. You were hit in August and they have just now ordered parts and 4-5 weeks to fix it?!?! 6 months!!! When mine was hit my insurance company said if it wasn’t fixed in one month they would take care of it and recover the money. Also, my rates wouldn’t increase.
Dealer ordered rear deck and parts and SS was fixed just over two weeks after I was hit. Another reason I have stuck with State Farm.
It was a hit and run took while to track him down then he just had Liability insurance and stalled that by denying he was involved thanks goodness for several eye witness his insurance stalled as long as they could but at least it is finally getting done could have done it sooner through my insurance but I have a 1000 dollar deductible so I opted not to go that route.

Finally got go ahead for repairs the jerk tried to fight it in court claimed he was not involved thank goodness for police report and eye witness statements taking to Sharps motorsports in Amarillo Tx tomorrow.Hope they can repair it without keeping it too long.Adjuster estimated 1900.00 damage but don't think that will even cover all the parts let alone the labor.
Just an update got finale ok from progressive on new repairs estimate, it came out to 3200.00 they ordered the parts said it should be done in 4 to 5 weeks
Getting pretty much all new panels for front end.I miss my Sling can't wait to get it back.

I decided to give Sharps motorsports in Amarillo Texas a try we have family there so we can hopefully get good service from them and visit at same time.It is around 160 miles give or take.
