Any particular type @Flybuddy? I feel like it would be thicker? Standard Velcro or the grip-type stuff?
Definitely need something... It's driving me crazy seeing it pop up!

When you reinstall the panel after applying double sided tape make sure all the tabs secure back in place. Had 2 that weren't in place from the factory so the tape never even made contact. The tabs are kind of odd as they have a flat portion with perforated tabs on the sides. The perforated parts like to bend and not go back in their slot which throws off the fitment.
I am now having this issue! I think all the clips are in, but you're saying a reapplication of double sided tape is needed? Will do!
I was hoping the tape was unnecessary like the "muscle stripes" on the hood...
Like the title says... Looking for the black storage cubby that base slingshots have. Don't need the metal "Slingshot" trim, just the black storage box.
Let me know your asking price!
Thanks!
Good to hear you are okay and there was a somewhat happy ending!
This is why I wear a full face helmet when getting on a highway...
Good luck sir.
I'm not exactly sure what that means... But would like some input if possible?
Well, I fiddled with it last night (the camera and monitor, that is...) and was able to pull the power for the camera from the factory harness like you diagramed...
I tested the rca to the monitor and it just came on... Didn't connect the red trigger wire so I suppose the camera will always stay on? My question is... Is that an issue? So far it'll be the only input into the monitor and I can fold the monitor down when not needed so I don't really mind if it's always on...?
Thanks for the input!
Okay, I'm looking to tackle this project soon, but could use more information (if you have it)...
Could you explain as if I was a 5 year old?
So I already bought and have the gino camera you linked... I need the relay now?
Also, I have the "esky" foldable 4.3 inch monitor...

Thinking of placing this in the storage cubby so I can fold down when not needed...
So... A detailed step by step would be much appreciated if possible!
Just an update for anyone thinking what else could be mounted to the windshield bracket using RAM mounts... A speaker! Perfect for those base SSs not looking to spend too much on audio (total cost, including speaker that can be used in other settings, $150)...
He got that blue fire (hold the muscle stripes)... First one the scene before Polaris thought they invented it...
Thanks all! Finally went with RAM mounts and the suction mount @jorgebri60 suggested... Everything is coming through Amazon and now I'm just waiting.
Also, was able to get the factory camera mount through 2wheelpros.com (saved about $10 plus)!
Thanks @NatomasSlingshot1!
Also, I was able to get the factory mount at 2wheelpros.com
Beat the Polaris website by about $10+ (every little bit counts)!
@shagood07, would you be able to order factory parts at a discount? If so, I'm interested in the factory camera mount. I have a base SS and looking to install a backup system (already purchased a monitor and camera) and would like the OEM look for the camera.
Thanks!
Let me cut one into for ya. I happen to have one
Man... I rather he ship me a few rather than cut into and waste one, but I understand the pursuit of science and information...
Now I'm thinking of going with a good grip suction mount that @jorgebri60 recommended (it's already in my Amazon cart) and using the RAM mounts for a Bluetooth speaker mounted to the windshield bracket. Could easily remove and place in glove box. Save me the hassle of a stereo/speaker install...
BTW, no dealers or vendors to assist here with ordering factory parts? Still wanting the factory camera mount...
Thanks a lot @rabtech!
Just wondering... It seems like many are not living to their fullest in that box... There's a happy home for a couple here if you need help...
Also, who has a dealer contact that could get me the factory camera mount for less than the Polaris website? Shipping is excessive IMO...
Thanks guys!
Now that the first part seems to be solved, who can assist with the factory backup camera mount? Any dealers or vendors that can assist?
Would this work for the mount?
Ram Mount 1-Inch Ball with 1/4-Inch 20 Male Threaded Post for Cameras https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005…r_other_apa_.BIlxbDPEFJSB
Then I'd use the double short arm @mytoy posted, along with a large universal cradle holder...
Can I get advice for what you all use for mounting your cell phones (or other device) from the windshield bracket? Not looking to spend $100 on the Polaris option...
Also, who has a dealer contact that could get me the factory camera mount for less than the Polaris website? Shipping is excessive IMO...
Thanks guys!
@BONES... Which is exactly why I agree...
@Guardian_Angel, they'll likely come... I'm still pretty happy about my used purchase with pretty good mods... $17K! Can't believe the blue is $10K more than what I paid...
But... Trade in has crossed my mind...
