Good to hear your audio frustrations are over!
Did you get a discount or excuse? Or both?

Display MoreIf I ever see an address that looks interesting I like to do a google street view real fast and see approximately where it is located.
WELL, THIS ONE IS THE BEST EVER... I was doing the addresses to mail business cards to and I got to an address in CA that caught my eye.
I copied and pasted the address in and hit enter and this is what I saw.... I couldn't make this sh!t up!!!!
I cut the address out of the corner of the picture. But if the member wants to come forward and claim that it is his actually address I will gladly let him..
AND I will say you have the coolest street in the world....
Well if they ever sell their Sling... They can't claim "no burnouts" or "never turned traction off"... Lol
But even those that do say that it's like... Uh... Yeah... Sure...
$100?!?
From biketronics:
It's not quite ready for release yet-July/ August probably.
Thank you

I never understood this....
No where near there... Complete opposite end in Houston Texas... But I want like your post... Lol
Awesome... Just awesome @TX Slingshot...
Thanks. The worst part is, I've already bought a bunch of parts already. Now I just get to stare at them for a while. Already bought a short throw shifter, primer and paint for the paint job, sound system parts, leds, etc.I'm going to box them all up and put them in a closet so I don't have to look at them.
That's the worst! But all will be well... You have everyone's best wishes here...
In the meantime... Don't be so mean to those mods... Send them my way!
Yes, if I ever get permission for an exhaust system ... This will be it! Looking for something to finish the rear end and just not convinced with the corbin bags... Plus it appears this definitely wouldn't work.
Food for thought Ivor. Has anyone queried the SS community/family to see if there is an interest in having more than one event p/year? Would it be feasible to have a spring and fall SSITS rally like a lot of 2 wheel bikes have ? It does not necessarily have to be in the same location but it would be great if could be. The SS community is growing and SSITS can grow with it.
This please! How about Slingshot Island Takeover in Galveston??? Or whatever really that's closer to Texas...
Thanks @DKF Texas and @Cameron Roberts!
If you don't mind, tell me more about these "clicks" you speak of... I'm sure it's the feedback from turning the dial, but what's my starting point? How do I get calibrated?
Another option for folks that requires "minimal trimming" to the opening... Taken from the forum that shall not be named...
Yikes! Have you seen it at all? Maybe they messed up and are waiting for a part?
Hope it all turns out well! Thought this thread was going in a other direction...
I also have audio frustrations, but more with myself not making up my mind in terms of what I want...
Actually, I'd just like @WraithSSs Sling... Wanna trade sir?
I have alpha (previous owner mod) and just read this whole thread...
What are good settings? I just turned them all the way one way, then counted the full rotations to the opposite side, and went back to the "middle"... I know this likely isn't best. I'd like a comfier ride if possible. I always catch air when hitting bumps... Granted it may be the speed, but I'm sure there's a better setting than what I did...
It's a base with SL wheels/tires and I'm about 160lbs.
Thanks Slingers!
I don't know why, but I'd really like the 4 wheeler with a nice body kit for the rear end... It just looks built for a sand dune or something.
Thanks @Drew71646!
Google and found this... But it isn't out yet... Hopefully sooner rather than later though!

Agreed! ^^^^
My wife is an Occupational Therapist, so I'm somewhat familiar with autism, plus at my school we have an autism class and those kids are the best!
I try to make sure they are included in as much as possible (what they and their parents are comfortable with). There are varying degrees (spectrum, etc), and we have nonverbal all the way to high functioning. I enjoy visiting the class and having them share with me.
Just be yourself! We are all different in our own ways (I myself live with vitiligo and trust me, being self-conscious is something I grew up with, along with bullying), but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
