Display MoreThere are a few of you out there that have expressed an interest in these racks. I try to return messages ASAP so I don't get behind or drop the ball on anyone. I thought I'd post up here rather than going back through individual messages. If anyone is still interested, I do have them ready to ship for all model years.
I should be getting my sling back soon so I can see if the brackets will line up with the wind restrictor...I did put the backing plates (wind restrictor and your rack) together and it looks close. '
Once I get it back and go to do the install of the wind restrictor I will be able to tell if I can make it work.

1. Year & model: 2016 SL LE
2. Street, racing: Aggressive Street
3. Brand and Size: 245/45/18 Nitto NT555G2 front 275/30/20 Nitto NT555G2 rear
4. Front or Rear: Both
5. Change In Size: YES
6. Dealer and Price: N/A
7. Codes or Issues: Nothing yet
8. Notes:My choice was the closest match to being equal revolutions per mile I could find for the stock wheels there should be zero nanny problems.
I have a 2016 SL with stock wheels and a 275/40/20 Nitto 555G2 on the rear. Does not throw any codes.
Just this afternoon I ordered a new set of wheels and tires from Josh at getyourwheels.com for $1,812 delivered.
Front - Stance SF03 gloss black with brushed tinted face 19x8.5 +42 offset 66.1 hub bore with Nitto Invo 245/40/19.
Rear - Stance SF03 gloss black with brushed tinted face 20x11 +45 offset 66.1 hub bore with Nitto 555G2 315/35/20.
I should have the wheels in a couple weeks. As soon as I get them mounted, I’ll take pictures and post.
With that combination of tires your differential will be 51 revolutions per mile. The front will turn 51 more times in a mile than the rear.
I wonder what the limit is to set off something with the ABS or TRC controls... @rabtech?

I had to replace all 3 of my tires due to vandalism. I have a 2016 SL LE with stock wheels and went with 245/45/18 Nitto NT555G2 on the front and a 275/30/20 Nitto NT555G2 on the rear.
The circumference for the fronts is 83.8" and the rear is 83.3" with a difference in rotations over a mile of 6 revolutions.
The stock tires...SL LE. (front) 225/45R18. (rear) 255/35R20 have a difference in rotations over a mile of 30 revolutions.
My choice was the closest match to being equal I could find for the stock wheels so there should be zero nanny problems.

People who say "what kind of fool do you think I am" then don't give you a list to choose from
Well.....
There are three types of fools.
1. Who does not know that he is a fool.
2. Who knows that he is a fool.
3. Who behaves like a fool.
The third type is actually not a fool, but he, who has mastered the art of living like a fool because, he has to live in the society among fools. He does not have any other choice.
Which one are you?

I just wanted to let everybody know what a great thing @Slingrazor did.
The infotainment screen on my sling was smashed during the attempted theft. I made a comment on here asking if anybody knew where I might be able to find one and @Slingrazor responded and said he would try to help.
I just received in the mail this....
He didnt ask for any money or anything except maybe a Beer when we meet and to pay it forward to someone if I ever could. I am speechless!! Just from the messages and the help with info I have needed from everyone here has given me a feeling of pride that I belong to such a group but I just had to let everybody know that this went beyond my wildest imagination.
@Slingrazor ...When me meet I will deffinitely buy you a couple of Beers and I do promise to give what I can to anybody who needs it.
I Sincerely Thank you and Thank @Tripod for helping me get this started....Yes you can have some Beer too!!!

Liberal mindset!
So your saying that the conservative values everybody was brought up with was just thrown out the window?!?
NOT MY FAULT I GUESS!!....LOL
Reap
You truly want to know what pisses me off....here it is.
How today nobody takes responsibility FOR ANYTHING!
You buy a product and dont read the instructions because hey you know everything...screw it up and you blame the manufacturer for making a bad product.
You dont follow the rules and get penalized and hey...not your fault ...they should change the rules.
Buy a cup of coffee and use your groin for a cup holder...spill it and burn yourself but hey ...not your fault why did they have to make it so damn hot!
Go out drinking and get stupid drunk...walking home you walk thru your neighbors yard...you stumble and fall and break your nose and you sue your neighbor...of course you being drunk hand nothing to do with it.
We have taught this newest generation that they don't have to be held responsible for anything, it is everybody elses fault that my friends is BS!!
If I acted like that there is no doubt that my father would rise from his grave and beat my A$$ and then tell me how disappointed he was in me because he didn't teach me like that. The A$$ beating would not have hurt as much as disappointing him would have!
I do not and will let my kids act like that.
WHAT HAPPENED TO VALUES AND RESPECT!!

Display MoreI must be getting old since the country today is not the country that most of us enjoyed growing up in. Here's proof. Agree if you believe that life was better in the "good old days"
NO MATTER WHAT OUR KIDS AND THE NEW GENERATION THINK ABOUT US, WE ARE AWESOME !!!
Our Lives are LIVING PROOF !!!
To Those of Us Born 1925 - 1955:
~~~~~~~~~
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE 1930's, 40's and 50's!!
First, we survived being born to mothers who may have smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
Then, after that trauma, we wereput to sleep on our tummiesin baby cribs covered with bright colored
lead-based paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets, and, when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps, not helmets, on our heads.
As infants and children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, nonpadded dash boards, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..
Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes,white bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar.
And we weren't overweight. WHY?
Because we were always outside playing...that's why!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.
No one was able to reach us all day ...And, we were OKAY.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we
forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.
We did not have Play Stations, Nintendos and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable,
no video movies or DVDs, no surround-sound or CDs, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and
no chat rooms.
WE HAD FRIENDS And we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and lost teeth, and there were no lawsuits from those accidents. We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping-pong paddles, or just a bare hand, and no one would call child services to report abuse.
We ate worms, and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, 22 rifles for our 12th, rode horses, made up games with sticks and
tennis balls, and - although we were told it would happen - we did not put out very many eyes.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them. Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't, did not receive a participation trophy. They had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out of jail if we broke the law was unheard of ... They actually sided with the law!
These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors ever.
The past 60 to 85 years have seen an explosion of innovation and new ideas.
We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.
If YOU are one of those born between 1925-1955, CONGRATULATIONS!
You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.
While you are at it, forward it to your kids, so they will know how brave and lucky their parents were.
Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it ?
Im sorry but Im just gonna say it....THAT WAS FU@!ING AWESOME!!
EXCELLENT @funinthesun
Display MoreI had a Scorpio on my Wing. It has pros and cons. It does trickle down the battery over time and it did sound off if the wind caused the bike to move. Also, people parking next to it would set off the proximity alarm at hotels and restaurants. Pro - the fob will sound off to let you know that the scoot is sounding off.
